This opening appears to function as a mythic origin story for the show itself, positioning the 'Cult of Psyche' as inheritors or chroniclers of this prophetic lineage. The framing suggests the show's project is to trace the boundary between paranoia and pattern-recognition in digital culture. The unnamed prophet serves as an archetype — the Cassandra of algorithmic modernity — and Psyche's narration adopts a ritualistic, almost liturgical cadence, implying this episode sets a tonal and thematic precedent for the archive.

So, a strange figure appeared online. No face, no real name, no interviews, only transmissions. Cryptic broadcasts uploaded at impossible hours of the night. At first, people laughed. Then they became obsessed because somehow
this digital prophet kept predicting things before they happened. Not perfectly, but enough to make people uncomfortable. And eventually, the internet stopped asking, "Who is this person?" and started asking, "How does he know?" The broadcasts began quietly. Strange observations about internet
culture, human psychology, algorithms, addiction, isolation. Most people ignored them, but a small group noticed something disturbing. The prophet described emotional patterns online months before they became mainstream. He spoke about digital addiction before
people called it doomscrolling. He warned that algorithms would reward outrage over truth. He claimed humanity would slowly trade identity for performance. At the time, it sounded paranoid. Now it sounds obvious.
