the way it once was. Chemists have replicated some of the traits of an amberree synthetically making it less necessary component in perfumes but it's still priced for its rarity and certain perfume makers certainly prefer it to lab created ingredients. Okay. But is pretty I think it's illegal in the United States and so but if you found it and you can even have it it's legal to possess because it's from the

In some countries, including the United States, endangered species legislation makes it illegal to buy or sell the stuff. Oh, no. The current rate for amber grease is about $35 a gram, depending on the quality. A gram of gold is about $61 per gram. Okay, so that's
like it's like less valuable than gold, I guess. But in the United States, selling and buying of amber grease is illegal because of it tained from whales who are endangered species.
