They're just like five minutes each. But I think that my my goal with these was like kind of like having a fairy tale but like you know with that familiar story but then having like a
kind of like Twilight Zoneish outer outer limits kind of twist to things with it. Right. I really enjoy that kind of like those kind of movies and all that kind of stuff. So um let's have a look. Okay. So um let's see if you like this is just a short. This
is called uh you see this is Goldilocks. Quantum Goldilocks. And so see if you enjoy it here. >> Always been at the edge of the wood where the trees stopped apologizing for their density and simply became a wall. Goldilocks had not been looking for a house. She hadn't been looking for anything at all. She had simply been
walking as she had every morning since she could remember. And the path just ended here. The door was unlocked. This wasn't surprising. She didn't ask herself why it wasn't. Inside, three bowls sat on the table. The first one burned her tongue. The second set her teeth together with cold, but the third
the third was exactly right, and she ate every spoonful without even tasting it. Watching the steam from the two hot ball dissipate in a pattern that looked almost like language along curling sentence she couldn't read before it dissolved. She moved through the house the way someone moves through a place they've been before without knowing
they've been there. The chairs were right where she expected them to be. The stairs had the right number of steps. The room smelled like something she couldn't name but recognized as the smell of safety, which she had always been told was the smell of home. She found the chairs. One was too big, one was too small, and one the one that
broke under her. She felt it giving way a half second before it did. Not because she was braced for it, but because some part of her body had registered, at the exact moment she sat down, that it was calibrated to fail at precisely her weight. She went upstairs to the beds. The first was too hard, and her spine
knew the wrongness of it before her mind even did. The second was too soft, and she sank into it with a sensation like being measured. And then the third bed. It was exactly right. The blankets were the precise weight her shoulders wanted. The pillow held her neck at just the angle that released the tension she always carried there, the tension she
had never mentioned to anyone. She thought, "I have never been this comfortable." She thought, "No one has ever been this comfortable." Then a chilling thought. This is what it would feel like if something knew my body better than I do. And then she slept. In her dream, the house had no walls, only scaffolding where the walls should have
been. And behind the scaffolding, technicians in pale gray uniforms moved between stations with clipboards, making notes. In the dream, she could see herself sleeping in the third bed, surrounded by instruments she had no names for. They weren't measuring her pulse or her breathing. They were measuring something that existed in no
language she spoke. One technician looked up and saw her watching him. He didn't look alarmed at all. He just looked down at his clipboard and made a note. She woke to the sound of the front door opening. Three bears came in. She understood later when there was time to understand anything that they had never really been bears. They wore the shape
of bears the way a tool wears the shape of its function. They weren't bears, but the shape of a bear was the precise form needed to generate the required response. A threat, but not a credible threat, something between danger and absurdity, something that would make her run. And she ran. The window she chose
opened onto a path that led toward home. and she understood even as she ran that she had been predicted to choose this exact window. Her preference for right-facing exits had been noted across 14 prior iterations of this same scenario. The other windows, she realized opened onto different paths with different destinations, all for
different profiles. At the edge of the wood, where her path met the familiar world, she stopped. There was a folder sitting on a tree stump. Her name was on the tab written in a hand she didn't recognize. She opened it. Inside was a document dated the day she was born. A complete physiological and psychological
profile. It listed her temperature tolerances, her pressure thresholds, the exact neck angle at which she stopped carrying tension. her predicted response to a too hot bowl, a too cold bowl, a chair engineered to fail at a calculated moment of lowered alertness. Her preference for right-facing exits
documented across all previous iterations. The last entry was dated today. It read, "Subject will stop at the woods edge. Subject will find this folder. Subject will read to the end. She looked at the final line." It said, "Subject will look up now toward the house one last time." She looked up. The
windows of the house were lit from within. A figure stood in one of them, a technician. He raised a hand. She couldn't tell if it was a greeting or a measurement. The distinction, she was beginning to understand, had never mattered to the study. She walked home. The path was exactly the right length. The porridge waiting for her on her
mother's table was warm. Exactly. Right. She sat down and ate without asking who had made it or how they had known when she was coming or why all her life everything made for her had fit so perfectly. Comfort is not the absence of danger. It is the most refined form of it. The version calibrated so precisely
to your body that you never feel the seams. The house was built for you before you were you. The only question worth asking is how many times you a walked that path believing you were unlooking for anything at all and what exactly gets filed away when you find it. Thank you for listening. disguise. He was sent by the sublime Avalocitvara, the embodiment of compassion, to the snowy lands of Tibet to meditate. Picture this. A lone monkey deep in contemplation amidst the vast silent mountains focusing on love, kindness, and the nature of reality. But his solitude was soon broken. A
rockogris. Tormented by her own karmic past stumbled upon him. She was instantly drawn to the holy monkey. Her raw primal desires overwhelming her. She made her intentions clear. But the monkey, bound by his sacred vows, couldn't possibly be with her. The ogris, however, was desperate.
Disguising herself as a beautiful woman, she pleaded with the monkey to marry her. "If you refuse me," she cried, I will kill myself. The monkey was steadfast. "I am a disciple of Avalokvara," he explained. "I cannot break my vows." Her desperation then turned into a terrifying threat. Alas,
great monkey king," she wailed. "If you will not have me, I will find a rockogre husband. Together, we will unleash chaos. Every day we will slaughter 10,000 living beings, and every night we will devour a thousand more. I will bear countless ogre children, and this entire land will become a dark kingdom of
ogres. Every living thing will be our prey." Is it not better to show me your compassion and prevent this horror? The monkey was thrown into a moral crisis. Marrying her would mean breaking his sacred vows. But refusing her would lead to unimaginable suffering and destruction. What was the right thing to do? He knew he couldn't make this
decision alone. In an instant, he magically transported himself to Mount Pila, the celestial abode of Avalokara. He laid out his dilemma before the compassionate one. What should I do? He pleaded. An ogris driven by a desire threatens to destroy my vows. How can I protect them without causing a greater
tragedy? Avalichuar's response was simple and direct. Marry the rockogris. And from the heavens, the voices of other divine beings echoed in agreement. Excellent indeed. This union wasn't just about two individuals. It was blessed for a greater purpose. It was destined to ensure that one day the teachings of the Buddha would flourish in Tibet. that
spiritual guides would arise and that the land would be filled with prosperity and happiness. So the Bodhisata monkey and the rockogris were united. From their marriage, six children were born, each with a completely different nature, reflecting the six realms of existence. One child from the hell realms had a
grim face and could endure incredible hardship. Another from the realm of hungry ghosts had a grotesque appearance and an insatiable appetite. The child from the animal realm was dull and simple. The one from the human realm was blessed with growing wisdom and sensitivity. The child from the demigod realm was competitive and jealous. And
finally, the one from the realm of the gods was patient and virtuous, a complete spectrum of personalities. Born from this unlikely pair, the monkey father led his six children to a forest brimming with fruit trees where they lived for 3 years. When he returned to check on them, he was shocked. His six
children had multiplied into 500. They had devoured every last fruit in the forest and were now starving, crying out, "Father, what can we eat?" "Mother, what can we eat?" They were desperate and helpless. The monkey realized this wasn't just a random occurrence. It was the unfolding of a greater plan set in
motion by Avalokar's command. So once again he returned to Mount Podila for guidance. I am mired in this mess because I followed your instructions. He lamented to the sublime one. My compassion was twisted by desire and now I'm trapped. My children are like a city of hungry ghosts. I beg you protect us
with your compassion. Avalichara heard his plea. I shall protect your progeny. He promised. He then reached into a crevice on the cosmic mount Samar and pulled out grains of barley, wheat, peas, buckwheat, and rice. He scattered these seeds across the land of Tibet. instantly, requiring no cultivation at all. The monkey father led his hungry children to these fields. He cried out, "Zoing," which means eat. And to this day, the place is known as zoding. As the monkey children ate these magical grains, a remarkable transformation began. Their hair and tails grew
shorter. They started to stand upright and incredibly they learned to speak. They had become human. They fashioned clothes from leaves and settled in the land. This myth explains the origin of the Tibetan people and the duality of human nature. The descendants of the monkey father's lineage are said to be patient compassionate faithful and
eloquent. They delight in virtue and kindness, but the descendants of the rock mother's lineage carry different traits. They can be more passionate, competitive, strong willed, and sometimes prone to anger, greed, and jealousy. This story beautifully illustrates that both these sets of qualities, the calm and the chaotic, the
virtuous and the visceral, exist within the Tibetan people, and perhaps within all of us. In those early days, Tibet was a land of dense forests and flooded valleys. The new humans worked together, digging channels to drain the water, turning the plains into fertile fields, and building the first cities. It was into this burgeoning civilization that
the first king of Tibet Niatre Senpo is said to have arrived, establishing the structure of society as we know it. And that is the incredible story of how the Tibetan people descended from a sacred monkey and a passionate rock. It's a tale that weaves together compassion, nature, spirituality and the very essence of what it means to be human. It

me in gentleness and learn of me in roughness. I am she who cries out and I am cast forth upon the face of the earth. I prepare the bread and my mind within. I am the knowledge of my name. I am the one who cries out and I listen. You who are vanquished judge those who vanquish you before they give judgment
against you because the judge and partiality exist in you. If you are condemned by this one, who will acquit you? Or if you are acquitted by him, who will be able to detain you? For what is inside of you is what is outside of you. And the one who fashions you on the outside is the one who shaped the inside
