I know people were kind of pissed this morning because you know I don't I don't know why they're pissed because there really should be no reason to be. If I was if I you know teachers sometimes need a substitute teacher you know a substitute teacher comes in it's a little bit different in class and they
have different rules and stuff like that and I wanted to give him a chance to be you know be me for a little bit me for a night or whatever it didn't work out right it's not it's not easy being me you see how how difficult it is like that's what someone coming in it's like oh keep this person on take this person it's like you never know it's like it can be frustrating right So,
uh, but I do appreciate you being here. I'm sorry. It I was just shocked as know everybody. I didn't know he was going to be donating like that. And uh, you know, and it's it's really it's really awesome. It's really special because, you know, I'm going to be able to really

I I've been on TikTok and basically, you know, there's a lot of sexy people on it and so I know that's what a lot of people are are focused on, but there's also science stuff on it like STEM, like science, techn technology, electrical, I don't know what it stands for exactly. It's like some kind of science education program. So, you can go to those educational ones
and then then there's one they recommend for you, which are just like, you know, just people twerking and stuff like that. I don't even know if you know what that is. Oh, also I smoked my bong like off I smoked my vape actually off camera. I came back and blew out the smoke instantly. I got this thing. It said, "Oh, your your videos on restricted because you're using tobacco." So that's pretty crazy. It
kind of like looks like it's they're a little bit stricter on the rules than YouTube is, right? YouTube will they will restrict the age if you smoke it like weed on some of the video but they won't do it unless I don't think um unless somebody reports it or
I don't know if they had the AI picking up on it but yeah but I hope and yeah I had to end a couple times tonight because I was so afraid of getting porn bombed and this I couldn't risk having to delete the show you know um and so that's why I had to end a couple times and restart But I guess Ghost didn't want to wait up for me the second time. It was about mid about 12:30 and he by I
waited till 1 in the morning. He never came back. And so we'll have to postpone um some of his uh control of the show. Also, I was kind of like not really I was kind of feeling last night. I was like, "Oh, you know, I'll let I'll take a I'll let him run the show tonight, but it's it's kind of hard. I can't really trust him necessarily to run the show." He's a good guy, though. He's a very
good guy. He's a mod now, too. So, that's fine. Hey, babe. So anyhow let me kind of put these cards away. These alien cards I was I did some good readings in the in the TikTok and I and the right after the live like a lot of people started following the my page and
so even people that were not really saying much there like they were there's people watching, you know. So, uh, I do look forward to Hey, Kisco. I look forward to maybe just doing a little bit over there, too. I I know that it can be they said even if if you just like have like a my they can estimate how much you'll
make a month or something like that. And they said I'll make I can make like $80 a month just for um putting putting like videos out every day on there. So, and once once you're monetized, right? And so there's also ways to spend money there, too, like you know, you can buy um you know, little gifts for people and stuff.
I got I did get a I think I did get one rose, but or a couple roses, but uh there's really cool stuff on TikTok, though, like the autoresponder that they have. So whenever anybody writes me or contacts me, they get a letter with my with this show with this show's URL in it and says, "Hey, come come see my

I also have you you can kick people off the panels." So, and it's for a certain amount of money, like, you know, I think it's it's $10 to like, you know, to sponsor the panel for a few hours. And he like sent me like a over $100 today. And he sent me over like a couple hundred dollars yesterday to and then it's like he wants to run the panel and stuff like that. And then it's been it's like he's like not going about it the
right way like and uh he's he's changing his mind about who he's kicking off. He he wants to kick him off one second, bring it back the next second, and then I'm just letting him do it. And then everyone's getting mad at me like saying, "Oh, well, you should be controlling the show." I'm like, "I'm just taking one night just to like let somebody else take take the wheel for a little bit." See, it's not the easiest thing. And uh >> everyone got mad at me. Oh, I love that

>> I feel lost. when I was um in Torrance, like the city of Torrance and like I got arrested when I had my roommate or whatever was like basically my drug dealer. He's borrowing my car. He he drove into the parking lot of the building, parked in the parking space, but the police followed him inside the the thing. I went down because I was told, "Oh, go down. Make sure they don't impound your car." Then they next thing I know, I'm arrested on drug charges.
And >> um that was kind of like a night, this is back in 200 probably eight, nine or 10. And uh but the most I ever spent in jail I I spent a few days in Los Angeles County, but otherwise I was you know able to keep my and that was the 2018. I've been out since. But when I was for that first time I was arrested I had a little kid in in the house and then in the jail they're like okay well your
cat's at the shelter like you know no one the police they um they did a a raid of the house and uh took the cat out took to the shelter and I got out and I got him out of there. Um, but yeah, that the police actually took the cat. You know, it's pretty crazy even though I was in jail at >> when they raided me. That's what I was
saying. Please don't please look after my cat. And I mean, I got out that night or I got out that night from from the police station. >> But yeah, it was just please don't leave the door open. Please keep They were actually pretty good. My cat was in there even though they my whole entire night up and like my whole entire life up. I mean, it was already up, but uh No, they they were pretty
good with the kitten or cat. I guess you would have been a cat at the time. >> Oh, yeah. This guy follows me everywhere. I was like, I can't go to the bathroom without him. If I go in the shower, he has to be inside with me sitting on the side of the tub while I have my shower. foot. >> Yeah. Like I I Well, that's like because I had um five kittens last year uh on Pi Day, like three March 14th, you know, my my cat Lola, she's like Trix's mom. So Trix is one of the he's the only remaining kitten I have out of the five. Right. Right. And uh and he's the sweetest one. He is also like a little I call him a shower peeper. Like he's like always around the corner. If I'm in the
shower, he's looking around the corner. He's peeking in or he wants to come in. Or if I'm on the toilet, he just jumps on my lap. Or you know, he wants to come. He if I get under the blanket, he just jumps right under. He's like the little he's he's very very sweet. But that that kind of reminds me of of your cat because uh you know just like he probably going to be extremely affectionate and and uh attached to his
human like some cats aren't some cats are more he's a boy like a sometimes boys are the other boys just were I think it was all boys and one one girl in his litter but the the boys just like wander they like to wander after a little bit and then they they uh you know they but he he is been staying and
he hardly ever goes side. So So he's he's stayed here. So I got five cats. >> Somewhere I bought him this.

Um but it's a very folks it's a very folksy show because they'll has the oh here you know we have the Menanites making these f this furniture here and it's like every every place oh we bought all this land
up here there's but there's nobody for miles like okay well there's a lot of stuff that is pretty funny but yeah I really enjoyed that show okay take as a compliment yeah I'm Hold on so it says I'm competition now she hates any um oh so yeah yeah Alisa Yeah, she might not like competition, but she know she never had anything
against me. Like up till the end when I was like being I was being slandered in her chat and I told her, she didn't respond really. Um, but she did give me a lot of good advice about streaming, about like monetization, about doxing, about uh just people saying the nword on the show. She gave me all this advice because all this stuff happens on her
show all the time and she's, you know, she's monetized. She doesn't even use her monetization really. He just uh you know uses power chat and stuff which I tried to set up today. programming. There's like um a few people at least says careless who slander on her show. Yeah, she could care less. They build an audience, but um I don't know if I'd be able to, but YouTube took off and Tik Tok is really taking off for me too. Like today in the chat there was like over a hundred people came in throughout the night and this is my second live and so

the valet. It says GPT valet. It's part of the new but it's like it will go and do things like if you say book plane reservations for you know for this day the best ones closest to this time and you know and returning this it will go and it will go and buy them for you. It
will go and actually like buy them like it will go do things as a computer but almost like it's like almost like a person but it's like a computer and it has this virtual framework. I mean it's just crazy. It it also is like helping me with so many ideas and it but the upgraded version is so detailed it's
kind of crazy. I had to analyze my whole show and stuff and it came up it had a a lot of interesting things to say and it talked about why the show is very unique and it talk it thinks that the show is like very different because it is a pan open panel well or a panel with uh mixed with tarot which is very rare. It's like there's

a up world. I think this was pretty good. Let me see. Um, finding beauty in life. As stupid and ambitious as men are, this is a lovely day, it says Kurt Vonagget. When life is up, it's easy to believe that nothing good exists. Or even if it did, it wouldn't matter. However, if you only pay attention to what's bad in your
life, you will inevitably end up exhausted and overwhelmed because experiences of joy are the fuel that we need in order to be present with our suffering. Too many people focus exclusively on everything that's wrong in their lives and in the world. And the result is that they end up being too burned out to do anything about it. There's a subtle art to learning how to be present with suffering in a way that
won't overwhelm you. Most of this book will focus on facing suffering directly. But in the first skill to develop is how to find beauty in life. If you can't do that, it will seem like suffering is all there is in the world and it will crush your spirit. This isn't a practice of looking on the bright side or some other way of denying real pain or injustice. Instead, it's a essential skill for staying human. In every moment of life,
there are infinite reasons to suffer and infinite reasons to be happy. Our experience largely depends on what we're focusing our attention. For example, imagine taking a couple of minutes to list everything that you could be upset about right now. You never run out of ideas. Now, imagine taking the same amount of time and making a list of everything you could be you could be
happy about, like the sky at sunset, the sound of rain, or um the eyes of a newborn baby gazing at you. This list could be pretty long, too. So many of us believe that it's impossible to be happy until all our reasons to suffer are gone. Yet, we also know that's never going to happen. There will always be reasons to suffer. Small ones like goals we haven't accomplished or people who
don't understand us and big ones like war, poverty, oppression, and climate change. These reasons to suffer exist, but they aren't all that exist. For us to have any experience of joy, we need to be able to pay attention to what is beautiful in life in the moment. It doesn't mean we're denying the problems in our lives and in the world. Instead, it means we're recognize how tragic it
would be to go through life ignoring all the beauty and wonder around us. If we put all of our happiness into um put off our happiness until all our reasons to suffer are gone, we'll never have a chance to be happy. If we don't feed ourselves with moments of happiness, we'll have no energy to make the world better. We can develop the skill of noticing what's beautiful in life by training ourselves in the ability to
choose where to focus our attention rather than letting our minds run wild with worries and judgments. It it takes commitment, but if you're doing it right, it should also feel pretty good. We're remembering to appreciate the shapes of clouds, the feel of a cool breeze on our skin, and the presence of a loved one beside us. As we be, it says, "Enjoying your non-toach." So as
we as we practice recognizing what's beautiful in life, we begin to notice everything that isn't wrong. For example, when we have a toothache, it's clear that not having a toothache would be would make us happier. However, as soon as our toothache goes away, we forget how lucky we are. Take a moment to see if you can actually enjoy your non-toach right now. If your tooth feels
hurt, try saying to yourself, "If my tooth hurt, this is exactly what I'd be wishing for. I believe that I would be so happy if only my teeth felt okay. Experiment with the ways of thinking to see how it affects you. It doesn't make you naive or simple-minded to think this way. It's actually a much more rational way of thinking than focusing exclusively on the problems in life to the point that they make us stressed out
and irritable. In every moment, there are infinite ways that life could be a little better and infinite ways it could be worse. Most of us that's that's pretty profound, right? Infinite ways, right? There's just like and so there's an infinite amount of things to focus on too, right? I don't know. So, um,
pretty interesting to stay.
Okay. So going back to Okay. So it doesn't Okay. So it says most of our most of us have a strong habit of focusing on everything we don't like about our lives and or everything we want to change. Since this habit can cause a lot of harm, it makes sense to practice bringing more balance into our
way of thinking and to make a conscious choice not to ignore all the conditions for happiness that are present right now. You had a toothache for 16 days on stop. Ouch. Says practice. It says put this book down and spend a minute or so noticing all the conditions for happiness that are present in your life right now. You can write down your list or just think about it. If your mind gets distracted or resists this practice, try saying to yourself, "My
mind believes there are other thoughts that are important." And that is true. However, I give myself permission to think about what is beautiful in my life for this one minute. Everything else can wait. Notice how you feel. It's if if it feels good, you can do this several times a day. The more you practice, the sooner you'll notice change in your life. Then it says, "Beauty in the difficult or hard
moments." It says, "As I mentioned earlier, my wife Annie is being treated for stage 4 colon cancer. She was diagnosed in 2015, just after our son's second birthday. Since that time, we've been through multiple surgeries, chemotherapy, res recurrences, and dozens of late night trips to the emergency room. One of the most difficult parts of this whole experience for me is waiting for
the results from scans. I don't mind waiting in the live lobby, but once we're called into the doctor's office, we're often sitting there for 20 minutes or more before he arrives, and it's torture. I know that the doctor would walk in any second with news that might change everything. I brace myself with the sound of every sound of footsteps in the hallway. Annie and I would always hold hands during this time. I pay close
attention to my mind, doing my best not to get carried away by the stories running through my head. I want to stay present so I can be there for her. A few weeks ago, we were at the doctor's office waiting for scan results and I was aware of a powerful thought arising in my mind. It was saying simply, "No, no, I don't want uh this to be happening. No, I refused to accept it." Every part of me was rejecting reality
in which I found myself as though I might be able to change it through pure force of will. I wanted to be present for Annie, but I was lost in my own suffering. Thanks to my training, I came back to my mindfulness practice, I closed my eyes and focused all my attention on the storm of emotion raging in me. I gave myself permission to feel what I was feeling and be open to it.
After a few minutes, why I hated this experience so much. The response was immediate. Because I love my wife and I don't want her to die. Obviously, right? Yet with my mind and body slightly more grounded, it was a revelation. I looked at her and felt her warm-handed mine. I could see that I was in such pain because I didn't want to lose her because she's so precious to
me. Yet, right in that moment, there she is alive and well here with me. What am I grieving? I was so lost in pain that I couldn't celebrate this real moment of being together. From this new perspective, it seemed like such a waste of time. When I think about mindfulness, there's an example I often use to show how its best intentions can go horribly wrong if we're not aware. I ask people
to imagine a man who gets cut off in traffic and then sticks his head out the window shouting obscenities and maybe even throws a plastic water bottle at another car. If we could pause in that moment and ask the man why he's doing that, he might say, "Because that jerk cut me off." Going a little deeper, we could ask why that upset him so much and he'd answer because it was unsafe and disrespectful. He'd say, "Of course."
So, he was looking for safety and respect by screaming out of his window and throwing things. In that moment with my wife, I felt as misguided as the man in the story. There we were, alive and together. The intensity of my emotions was entirely based on how dear she is to me. The only thing that made any sense was to celebrate that moment of being together. I began crying, tears of joy. In that present moment, we were alive
and the only thing to do was feel grateful. When the doctor finally arrived, we got good news. That scan showed no progression in her disease. However, we've had enough good scans and bad bad ones to know that doesn't mean we're in the clear. In a few months, we'll be back in the same room with no way to predict what the doctor will say. Yet, that moment belongs to the future. Right here and now, we are alive, and I
refuse to waste a minute of this precious time. The experience is teaching us to celebrate every moment of life we have. The chat is going back to how it should be absolutely bonkers. Do you love it? Okay, good. Um, let's see. Man, did I feel happy when it stops? Okay. Oh, yeah. Okay. So, it's gone bonker. It seems a little quiet, but that's good. I
