now hello everybody how are you today yeah it's my I'm doing a birthday stream today it's my
birthday Jackson how are you um I got my uh I free Starbucks today you Starbucks on your birthday if you're in the Starbucks app if you're every birthday you so this is the caramel um caramel
crunch frappuccino one of my favorites so my free Starbucks today yeah I'm going to dinner today so I thought I'd uh i' do a stream and say hi to everybody and uh yeah having a little birthday stream so welcome everybody internet was not working well
today and I just uh reset it so seems to be working really well now so but how's everybody's day it's uh beautiful hey what's up pie good to see you yep having a nice birthday I woke up about around uh
noon we had a fun night last night night though um we we did uh do a movie night and then uh we watched about 36 minutes of the movie and then uh it paused and stuff like that it's at a timed out for 10 minutes and then um you know we postpone that's for
later so maybe we'll restart it or maybe we'll uh we just have people that were there um finish it up yep so he I I I like my card my birthday card that's one of my favorites who's that from oh yeah this
is my neighbors really cute cucumber cat um I have a new cat on the way thank you John thank you so much y my big 44 halfway to 88 years old you know um but it's a it's it's a it's a
nice birthday I'm just excited tonight get to go to a nice uh restaurant with my mom my sister's going to be there and um yeah I've already had a look at the menu and I'm looking forward to it yeah so I'm getting a new cat I told you oh there's Lola and I also have um oh marbles was here marbles not there magic

yeah Rudy is this 15-year-old um really cute cat that my uh my family friend can't take with her when she moves and so I'm taking him in but he was supposed to come today but I talked to her today she has stuff to do today and I didn't have a cat carrier and stuff and so um he's coming tomorrow and and I'm
going to hook her up with a cat carrier and bring him over and uh I think he'll fit in well here bring magic over going to say hi to all the cats that are in here magic they're calling for you too you get magic over
here bunch of cats you're gonna get you're trying to get a job you know um Jackson what kind of job do you want you have a cat and her name is Chip and she's four oh it's magic well if you want you know when I my one of my first jobs I got I got on a a website called snaga job and I I got a job at a clothing store called
lans's lman was a really cool store I don't know if it's still around and stuff you don't know look at look at snaga job if you uh CU that will have some uh local job opportunities and stuff I'm I think I might might be getting a job this year because trying to save up some money so I can travel a little bit me go to Florida yeah you don't know okay you're

feminine um symbol one story tells of a frog jumping into the moon where it rules for eternity
so sounds like a time for for New Beginning fertility um energy creation good time to be creating things and it's a and it's also a symbol of transformation because you know the frog goes through the the tadpole to the different stages very much like human human beings

wild animal you know but uh my family has uh has goat chickens U miniature horses pigs last last Christmas my sister got my mom two pigs two female pigs and then one of them was pregnant though and so in a
couple months they had nine pigs and then my mom was trying to you know sell some of the pigs but someone wanted to buy one for a luau you know Hawaiian luau and I've been to Hawaii and I've been to a luau and they uh they have the they kill the pig and then they cook it underground and it's like the best pork
it is delicious it is delicious but yeah my mom said no because my mom is a very very uh animal lover yeah even my sister too my sister saw babe she saw babe the movie and so she fell in love with pig so my sister never ate pork or bacon or anything like that she
was she was always a big animal lover come on Magic here Lenor get over here no cat running around come on l wants to see you
again Jah you say hi to my cat Lenor there Lenor yeah no bacon and you know I was a vegetarian when I was like 15 years old I was a vegetarian probably for a couple years it was it was good and I enjoyed vegetarian food but you know I'm very thin I need a lot of protein oh and Trix is out here
too Trix Trix has appeared yeah so there's little tricks Trix is my little skinny guy you little skinny guy okay yeah the cats are just running around
here and I'm excited today I get to go to a restaurant I think I looked at the the menu it looks like it has a really good meatloaf and I I do like a good meatloaf especially you know a well prepared restaurant meatloaf so I'm excited my sister is going to be there my mom's taking me out so I'm getting picked up
today um yeah and uh and then I have cat coming tomorrow a new cat coming tomorrow so I'm uh I'm really excited I'm a new new addition to the house and you guys will all meet Rudy he's an older cat he's like 15 years old she's like you know he's like a and he's been a single cat though so
he's going to have a bunch of new Foster Brothers right Foster Brothers and Sisters I think he'll fit in right you know perfectly here so I'm really excited about that got my free Starbucks today if you didn't hear yet I got my free Starbucks frappuccino on my birthday Starbucks is really cool for

I've heard that and that's great John yeah and it's great meditating on on each uh each card I like to I like I I encourage people wanting to do tarot to do like a c a card a day and pull a card a day and then focus and meditate on that card but yeah that in Christian hermeticism that's very interesting it's pretty similar to to narcism it's a more
esoteric esoteric Christianity where it brings probably in other traditions and stuff yeah download the app it's valid everywhere yeah just download the app and then I I just order ahead of time on the app and it was totally free um so it's a nice this is like usually $7 and so I got a little treat on your my birthday
today I like Starbucks for an occasional treat I like the delicious coffee and I used to drink a lot of coffee I used to have a coffee maker and but uh and then when you stop drinking a lot of coffee you get really I think I slept for a long time you see I guys I didn't have my shower yet today so you see I'm a
little bit look like I still woke up but maybe I'm looking a littleit more my age today your geeky academic side you have to get a license yeah yeah well me I I I don't drive right now but I do have like a lot of places nearby and I have a Whole Foods
and I have a Petco I have a a hey Cat traveling Gypsy what's up thank you for coming it's my birthday today yeah yeah so good luck with getting the license Jackson study study hard for that written test you know when I tried to get my license when I was 16 when I
was I think I got my license when I was 18 yeah a lot of money right but when I got my license for my driver's license I failed my driver's test six I think I failed it six times my my behind the wheel test and it was a nightmare because every after the three times I failed it you have to retake the
retake the written test and every time I would do something just make make one of those mistakes that it's like if you make certain mistakes it's automatic fail one time I pulled into the intersection and and when there was a uh yellow light and then I was I stayed in the intersection after the light turned red and stuff
like that and uh another time I was miserably par parallel parked I didn't yeah oh oh Wildlife license yeah those must be expensive too it's a oh for yeah Jackson wants to get a wild animal what kind of wild animal would you like to get a Siberian tiger or a like Sig freed and Roy you know sometimes you got to watch out for these wild animals though
because they can be unpredictable and stuff like that but I know there's a guy in Mexico he had some tigers and stuff like that and he might have got somebody they used to come and play with the Tigers and stuff but sometimes the tiger is not having the the best day you know and and the tiger can very easily you know scratch somebody and you know what happened to Sig and Roy right is
the new baby here the baby's not here yet um she called this morning and she said uh she had so she said uh she will be um bringing him tomorrow you like a baby seal you love seal so much wow you know um city we have a I live by the ocean and so we can hear the seals barking at night yeah seals are and I'll tell you the story of the selky hold
on I love mythology guys and then so there's a story about the sky and if you're interested in fairies and things like that well it's kind of similar to a fairy I mean there's elements of the fairy mythology and a silky but I'll tell you about the story of the silky if I can if it doesn't come up because I'm having internet problems
today I can just tell you what I remember so the selki are these seal women and uh there's a story about a man married this woman and she then he found her seal skin I think my internet's working okay
yeah so it says a s is a shape-shifting creature that can appear either as a seal or Human by putting on or removing their seal skin they're often depicted as women with beautiful singing voices and are prominent part of Celtic and Norse folklore in folklore celis are often depicted in stories where a man steals a selky skin and forces her to marry him the sky will long for the sea
and eventually return when she finds her skin I look good thank you I I shaved and uh you know I haven't had a shower yet today but I will and you want to see some pictures of SK there a beautiful seal women there's one and
uh let's see if I can find find a story the story about it it's a cool little folktale okay silky store let's see and they're also it says like they're also similar to sirens and and that kind of thing silky
story okay myth of the silky so this says the skky folk are sea people seals who can shed their skins and take human form to dance on the shore yeah of course in the story of a silky woman of course the internet you know
whenever I try to like pull up pull up things on the TV or the internet for people a lot of times things stop working so just bear with me okay we get the story yes okay the name so skki is Arcadian
for seal and it should give you a good clue when they're in the wanted they like regular seals doing what SEALs regularly do however Skies have the power to remove their seal skins and walk ashore in human form um if they should lose their skin for some reason they find themselves trapped on land the story of the skky wife is the most common legend by far it's so popular that this tale doesn't just relate to Scottish suies it's made its
way to the Pharaoh Islands so one night a man catches a glimpse of something strange happening down on the beach as he creeps up behind a rock he realizes it's a group of selkies Dancing in the Moonlight while his entire while the entire site is captivating there's one girl in particular that the man couldn't keep his eyes off of when the dancing is over the uh the silky folk wander back to where their seal Skins are laid out
slipping them on and disappearing into the waves you never heard of one yeah it's a really cool really cool uh story The mesmerizing girl is last to approach her skin but right before she could touch it the Man rushed and grabbed it himself by this point the sun was rising and without the ability to return to the Sea she was resigned to follow the thief home over the years the couple were
married and even had children but while all but all the while the skky skin was hidden away until one day while the skky wife was finishing her chores her son approached with something strange in his hands it was her seal skin found buried away where nobody but a bored young boy would look hey what's up everybody it says the skky wife loved her children but the call of the sea was
too much just as her husband returned home he saw her sprinting across the beach with her seal skit in hand he never saw her again but anytime the children went down by the shoreline a curious seal could be seen bobbing away in the distance I get kind of chills when I read that such a sweet story but then there's another one it says this is my personal favorite Scottish skky story although I'm not aware everybody believes in the
creatures that once included Donald the seal hunter and johon o' groz Donald made his living hunting the seals around the coastline and never paid attention to the old Legends to him a seal was nothing more than a way to make money you almost cry for it one day Donald saw huge seal stretched out on the Rocks he knew how valuable a skin of the size would be so he crept upon with his knife sharpest
knife and plunged it deep his prey bellowed in pain before diving in the sea taking Donald's best knife with him Donald was furious at losing both his catch and his knife he was still sulking about at that night when there was a knock at the door a tall handsome stranger stood outside and asked for a famous seal hunter his Lord had requested a large number of skins and
would be delighted if Donald accompanied him to his Hall Donald wasn't going to turn down an opportunity like this without hesitation he leapt up on Strangers horse and off they sped he started to get a little nervous when the horse took the Cliff Road those nerves turned a sheer tear as the horse galloped directly towards the edge and dived into the air as they plunged into the sea Donald was dragged far below the waves to a
hidden door on the rocks on entering he saw a great host of seals with sad looks on their faces the big seal from earlier was lying in the middle of the room with a horrendous gash in its side I'm getting chills again right the stranger that Donald had arrived with then presented him with a blade and a cold dread came over him he instantly recognized his best knife the host said to him Donald you will have guessed that
we are no ordinary seals we are selkies and even though you have slain many of our kin we mean you no harm I brought you here because you are the only person who can save our King only your hands can close the wound that they opened Donald was distraught at the pain he had caused these creatures he didn't know what good it was would do but he stepped upon the dying sky and reached out with
his hands slowly and Tenderly Donald pushed the wound closed as if by Magic it started to heal itself hey Gayla um heal over the sis barked their approval as the king raised himself up and Donald side with relief luckily for Donald Skies aren't bful beings and allowed him to return home on one condition he willingly promised never to
hurt another seal in his life thank you and there's there's another one I'll read I think there there's one more it's called the selky grave probably the strangest Scottish Sky taale I've found comes from the far North Coast this one is a little different though since it's actually it has a landmark for you to see and I can show you this picture it's pretty cool
okay it says uh um inside old or orri Kirk near Castle Town hidden towards the back of the oldest graveyard is a sk's grave it said that one day in the distant past an old fisherman found a baby girl wrapped in a seel skin abandoned on the castle town beach he and his wife had no children of their own so it seemed like a blessing they were delighted to take
the baby and raise it as their own but rumors surrounded the child all her life that she was a silky it didn't matter that as she Grew Older the girl began seeing things that others couldn't some consider what what's known as Second Sight to be a blessing um when but when the girl claimed to see the devil in the Raptors of old rig Kirk she was banished from its walls people don't need many excuses to avoid somebody who they think is
different and it must have been a hard upbringing to be a self silky girl one man must have seen pass the rumors though since the girl tragically died in childbirth this is her grave a small stone with a hollow inside that said never to dry out even during times of drought it's definitely worth um it was definitely soaking when I visited and as you can see people like to leave gifts at the skk grave things from the sea to
make her soul more comfortable I guess it's a small constellation the girl must have been welcomed back by the community by some degree if she was buried in the graveyard and so here's the sky's grave guys that's a sky grave it's and there see it's it's inside it's uh it's wet inside and then there's um sea shells and all these things from the sea around
it it's called The Sky gra so it's a real Landmark right pretty cool story huh I love when they have actual historical things that go along with that and nowadays we have pictures now and so they used to probably had a had a just you know rumors about it and then actually it exists and see it
and has the inside the hollow it's called the silky girl's grave now that my internet is working I'll see if I can bring up the story of my ancestor Mary Sanford that I tried to tell before and this is a my ancestor I found on Ancestry and then it it said um The
Witch Trials around itow okay it said um and so let me see if I can pull up this story because I last time I tried to share it it uh my my my tablet died but it's okay it's working today so this is an ancestor I have um
Mary Sanford and this is one of her ancestors who her name is Lori Sanford and she's an author and so she's writing a book and she's like when I discovered my Heritage it was really OB um an obvious choice um some someday after a lot of time and research I hope to honor my eight times great-grandmother with the novel version of her story for now here are the facts the story strikes a personal Accord with
me maybe it's because I just don't like seeing people suffer for unjust reasons this is the entire family that this the entire family of Andrew and Mary Sanford certainly did Andrew Sanford immigrated from England around 1632 and settled in Hartford with his Uncle Andrew Warner he married a woman of unknown Heritage named Mary soon after in 1657 he was made a Freeman and
a chimney viewer and then in 1662 the documents call him a pump maker as a physician John Winthrop Jr the governor of Connecticut evidently treated the Sandford children the family was living in North Main Street in 1662 in March of that year John Kelly's eight-year-old daughter Elizabeth was stricken with severe stomach pains in
her Agony the girl blamed goodie arus a woman known for spreading stories of her meetings with the devil so you know then U if you read The Crucible everyone's called Goodie and stuff like that okay bye I'll see you later thank you thank you for being here uh he beg so goody Aras was known for spreading stories of her meetings with the devil she begged her father to have the woman arrested and with her dying breath said goodie
Aras chokes me if that weren't enough physician Bray Roser performed an autopsy on the girl determining she died of prenatural causes let the witch hunts begin another woman experienced violent body motions and spoke in a Dutch accent as she accused Rebecca greensmith of Witchcraft greensmith referred to by John Whiting as a lewd ignorant and considerably aged woman broke under
interrogation and testified in court against her husband she related stories of strange creatures following him in the woods and his possession of Supernatural strength she said the devil appeared to her first in the form of a deer and that he had frequent use of her body she described meetings in the woods attended by goodwives Seager Sanford and Aras she recounted a story of her and several neighbors meeting under a tree
on the greenard her home to dance and have a bottle of sack Andrew sford was accused of Witchcraft on June 6 1662 and tried in court soon after he and his wife were both indicted for witchcraft or for holding public meetings other than those prescribed by the elders or for dealings with satang among the jury some thought guilty some strongly suspected he was
therefore acquitted but Mary was found guilty um no record of Mary's execution has ever been found though historians believe she was hanged John M Taylor States in his book witchcraft delusion in colonial Connecticut that she was executed further evidence that support this Theory comes from the fact that Andrew moved to Milford 5 years later and remarried however some sources disagree the colonial history of
Hartford states that Mary Sanford was convicted first and was not long detained in jail like some weird Spectre of the spirit world she disappeared could Mary Sanford have escaped the hands of her accusers if so she did she join Andrew and Milford the name of his second wife remains a mystery while this version of the story may be unlikely it's an interesting one for her hopeful descendants to
entertain one factor I still not fully comprehend is how Andrew and Mary sford came to be accused and tried Rebecca greens Smith's testimony clearly implicated Mary as attending at least one of her mysterious meetings I'm still not clear how Andrew was involved one theory has to do with religious leanings an article in New England historical magazine refer to the sanfords of hartford's all Quakers which may have
been um class them with Heretics right some believe the couple may have adopted the ideals of an Hutchinson from Andrew's brother who lived in Boston for about five years they family may have been holding Bible studies in their home that ran contrary to the religious philosophies of the puritanical neighbors and government she it says I find it ironic that one of the main reasons people came to the new world was
for Religious Freedom and then tragedies like this occurred the Colonials did not understand that true worship of God is only made without coercion in many ways we still do not understand so looking back on the story of my ancestors who lived long ago on the people who gave me life and my name I gain a lesson to take with me treat people with compassion and do not judge when their Viewpoint is different from your own perhaps you may
learn something however small from everyone you encounter I've learned a lot from your life Mary in the end I really hope you did outwit your foes and live a long super secret spy life with your beloved hey a girl can dream and then they have the Andrew's grave photo Andrew Sanford's
grave can't really see it but it says Andrew Stanford died August in uh okay yeah and then uh it has her you know she's the author has her at this grave site right there and so I don't there's family resemblance we're kind of dressed the same today and that's probably one of my cousins right so pretty cool story and uh that's
what's interesting I mean I I think I um I think I got a free trial on Ancestry and I found all kinds of interesting um interesting family and and I found um I'm also related to Kathy Bates we have the same like eighth great grandfather and something like that and I have the last name Bates right
so we always suspected I was related to Kathy Bates but I proved it you're welcome I hope you enjoyed that story it's it's pretty cool you know and uh and also I relate to you know her um her name is Lori Sanford I I relate to her saying it's it's a it's sad that these kind of things happen and uh we should always have compassion for people and
there's something to learn from everybody okay and not judge people just for their beliefs because we we all have our own our own different beliefs and that's just what makes us interesting and different right was interesting thank
you so it was like anybody uh anybody won another card or any card or anybody haven't read a traveling Gypsy or um yeah I can pull more cards for anybody these cards are good for everybody I'll pull pull this one for everybody little soul message for today yes I will I will Gypsy I got you right next this one is good for all of us am I
getting enough rest to restore my energy and fully show up into my life we always have to remember to uh get enough rest and it says you are the asset your body is the body is your vehicle notice how your body is feeling notice how much sleep you're getting and what you can do to help your body rest so today's action take a bath put on some lavender essential oil go to bed ridiculously
early or give yourself a timeout today notice your body thaning you today's Mantra the more I give myself permission to rest the more I can contribute hey Tanya hey little moonlight so Teresa let's get you one of these
cards Teresa this is this says do I surround myself with people who Lift Me Up the people with whom we surround ourselves determine who we become does your tribe fill you up do they inspire you do they believe in you do they help you step into your greatest potential says make a desiress of the type of people with whom you wish to surround yourself and to clarify that there is anyone in your life who no longer serves
you can you love them from a distance yes and I think you do I think you have a great a Great Soul tribe around you and I think we're all finding our soul tribes you in this time and I think I I think I have great people around me and you but you know but sometimes there's people in in your circle that might that might not be the best for you and sometimes it is better to love some people from a distance yeah I love my friends too so that's but that's good

it's like a and it's it's a really cool store it's like it has a lot of really cool stuff for like a dollar and uh I think it's called the Neco cat but let me see beckoning cat there's a cool story behind this one yeah it's called um manini Neco and then there's a story behind
it okay yeah I'm going to find the story says what is the story of man manen Neco the Japanese beckoning cat manen Neco translated as beckoning cat but also known as the lucky cat or welcome cat is recognizable
internationally often found behind cash registers of restaurants and retail outlets also on your phone but how did the Cat come to be and what does it mean in Japan cats great Companions and pets probably arrived in Japan as early as a few thousand years years ago and by the 8th Century appeared in literature mythology as in the rest of the world cats were useful in catching mice the most popular the population of
domesticated cats however was relatively small because they okay uh oh cat's knocking over everything hello to everyone else yeah um because they were precious some cats were kept unleashes to keep them close rather than letting them run wild during the e
period3 to 1868 paintings of cats were sold to silkworm Farmers these images were believed powerful enough to scare off silkworm predators and rats and mice manani Neco um style Japanese cat dolls can be traced back to the Ido period or shortly beforehand they probably appeared in Buddhist temples
um sorry they probably appeared in Buddhist temples because the dolls have roots in the new Eastern C Capital instead of the traditional Japanese Center of Kyoto and surrounding area Western Japans we know what we know Manco is relatively new in Japanese history here's a here's a there's a uh what they used to look like the traditional ones yeah and he
still you know it's very similar the beckoning cat so it says at the uh each Ido Temple has a different story about how the minini Neco came to be at the gooi temple the legend is based on the story of uh lee naaka the Lord Samurai of the hikuni
domain hakone domain while passing goto kuji naoko was beckoned by a cat at the Temple Gate as he came inside he was saved from an unexpected heavy thunderstorm out of gratitude the samurai decided to provide continuous donations to the temple that had been struggling financially the cat became the temple symbol and brought them continuous Good Fortune today the temple attack attracts tourists from all over
Japan and the world and here's another picture beautiful cat yeah I'm happy you're here da where when and where the ceramic cats began to be sold remains a mystery but by the late Ido period they found a peel
with Urban Cuts customers clear evidence of this can be found in UTA Hiro's print from 1852 which depicts a stall selling numerous Doll cats but these cats look slightly different from many cats we see in the for Century they hold no Coban gold coins so this is a gold coin right there
so it's also the symbol of prosperity right there's the P beckoning and also the cats have it like sometimes they have the right arm up sometimes they have the left arm up it means different things you can see in this picture in this Temple photo and there they have all these cats for sale these little ceramic cats they look different from uh the cats today but you
see right there they're selling the cats the beckoning cats um and it says U Mass Production started in like 1868 and 1912 using plaster molds and the cat became a popular figure Nationwide the cat came to represent material rather than emotional Happiness by then Bells around
cat's necks were typically replaced by coins perhaps linked to Japan's economic prosperity and there's such great pictures of the the cats here so these have to do a lot with material Prosperity right um well in the English speaking world it's commonly held that money doesn't buy happiness it's permissible under
Japan spiritual code to pray for personal material desires this one's a funny one you never heard this story before yeah I know another I don't know if they'll have the other story here but I know the other story about it too um and here's another picture there's all these different styles of them pretty adorable
yeah well so it doesn't go into this other story I've heard but the other Story I Heard was there was a a girl that she had some cats and uh and she couldn't afford to pay for her cats and so she prayed and she had a dream that uh she should create create these cats and so she she made it and then she started selling them and then she became um Rich selling selling them and so she
was able to feed all her cats and stuff like that right so has a lot to do with you know good luck prosperity and uh you'll find him in a lot of uh a lot of out outside stores and behind cash registers and they're beckoning you know like come in spend some money so I hope you enjoy that
story this is this was always a childhood favorite we had this we had this Golden Monkey this is this is brought to me so very creative imaging huh this is a cute little monkey huh I love this little monkey with the there a little he a little chip on his ear but this little Golden Monkey and this is also is like a nice little family heirloom my family is my mom is very
good at um Furnishing and and uh she goes to um flea markets and um antique stores and when they went to Mexico they would go to the Mexican markets and and they would buy all sorts of really cool things and so they have the house their house is full of religious artifacts and really eclectic you think my internet cut out for a moment yeah I'm sorry about that
