This episode of 'Cult of Psyche' features Psyche talking about various themes, including the search for truth and power, and the dangers of hiding behind masks and excuses. He also interacts with his cat, Rudy, and performs an oracle reading.
Late night signal from the valley of
ghosts.
Static in the wires. Hear the sermon
from the host. Everybody hiding in a
comfort designed cage.
Smiling while they slowly decay with
age. They say I'm waiting but they
really mean fear. Tell themselves the
lion till it sounds sincere. Me and Halo
flicker from the CIT shrine. Watching
all their ambitions flatline. I seen a
thousand people praying to delay.
Calling weakness wisdom just to get
through the day. Soft little rituals to
avoid the pain. While the dream leaks
slowly down the drain and the oracle
laughed in the purple glow said, "Truth
hurts fast but lies hurt slow." Now the
mirrors in the temple start speaking
back. Every excuse leaves another crack.
You can hear the dead signals buzzing
through the wall.
Every false identity eventually falls.
Everybody wants power. Nobody wants
truth.
Everybody wants heaven. Nobody wants
proof.
>> The signal doesn't lie. The signal sees
through you. Every mask collapses under
neon blue. The signal doesn't see. The
signal doesn't hide. All your secret
little stories broadcast worldwide.
I watch the weep disappear into the
static haze. Lost inside comfort for the
rest of their days. But the ones who
face themselves survive the night. Now
their eyes glow silver in the satellite
light.
On the ground, eating in a dead shopping
mall. Cult members dancing in the
abandoned food hall. Tarot cards
scattered by the arcade machines.
Everybody chasing artificial dreams as a
televangelist selling haunted tapes
talking about destiny while reality
escapes. Old women in robes by the flow
resting flame. Running little suburban
rituals for fame. Meanwhile, the
algorithm studies your soul. Learning
every weakness, every crack, every hole.
If approval controls you, then they own
your mind. If rejection breaks you, then
you're easy to bind. That's why the
prophet in the VHS suit said, "Face your
shadow or remain someone's tool."
Everybody thinks manipulation is
external force. Most people control by
their own inner.
I saw the future in a broken motel sign.
A glowing red MESSAGE SAID,
>> "YOU ARE RUNNING OUT OF TIME."
>> THE CROWD STOOD frozen beneath the
buzzing light. Too addicted to comfort
to survive the night. Then the
transmission changed. The static became
clear and a voice from the teleision
whispered.
"Your excuses are rituals. The signal
doesn't lie. The signal sees through
you. Every hidden weakness glows
electric blue. The signal knows your
name. The signal knows your fear.
Everything you buried eventually
appears.
I was strong. Walk barefoot through the
flame. While the weak built kingdoms
made a blame and the truth cut deep like
a sacred knight. But the lie would have
taken their whole life.
So, welcome to the observatory.
Where the mirrors never flatter,
where the archives remember everything,
where comfort is exposed as sedation.
The transmission
continues at 3:33 a.m.
And somewhere deep beneath the static,
a voice keeps repeating,
"Stop lying to yourself.
Okay,
that was so good. Hi.
Speaking of high, I can't really can't
finish my vapes,
so it'll be kind of a sober sobery kind
of week.
How's everybody doing? Let me see.
put up my um
my being quiet. Okay, I'll put up my uh
my link. He wants to come say hi.
I go for a walk.
Some fries and uh coffee.
We'll see.
Okay. Well, while I'm waiting for people
to talk, I guess I will
try to entertain you.
I don't know.
Yeah, we can.
>> Don't fall asleep.
He's waiting in the static again.
Don't fall asleep.
He's waiting in the static
again.
Midnight leaking through the ceiling
cracks. Black candles melting onto tarot
stacks. Television angels whisper
through the snow. Every channel says
there's nowhere left to go. I hear
footsteps underneath the floor. But I
live alone. I checked before. Shadows
move wrong in the hallway lights.
Something wearing my face stands outside
tonight. And the moon looks sick above
her MOA WAVES. LIKE GOD ABANDONED
CALIFORNIA to graves. Everybody online
smiling with dead eyes, posting pretty
little lies while the real world dies.
And every dream gets louder. Every
mirror gross teeth. Every whisper secret
underneath my sheets. I can feel the
static breathing in the walls.
Hear invisible things crawling through
the calls. Welcome to Psyche's
Nightmares. Black roses growing from
ELECTRIC CHAIRS. EVERY LIVE stream opens
gates somewhere and the shadows
know my name. Welcome to Psyches
Nightmares. Terror prophets choking on
burn. Something anient hiding in the
glare and crawling
through the frame.
I saw a woman dancing in the crimson
veil. Headless orchestra playing
funerals songs. Rats in tuxedos laughing
at the screen while raccoon queen smoke
gasoline.
The ocean turned black at 3:33.
Every wave whispers, "You belong to me."
>> I tried to wake up, but the room reset.
Same broken clock, SAME CELL. AND every
hallway stretched another mile. Every
smiling stranger stared too long a
while. Everybody chancing from invisible
rooms like a digital cult preparing for
doom.
Some nightmares chase you.
Some nightmares study you.
And some
fall in love with you.
Now the walls breathe slow like dying
lungs. Neon crosses drip with blood red
suns. I see my old selves hanging from
the sky like failed prophecies that
refuse to die. But the nightmare made me
powerful too. Turn fear into something
cold and new. Now I walk through
darkness like a king. While demons
whisper, "Don't let him sing." Because
every word becomes a ritual flame. Every
camera lens becomes a summoning frame.
Every audience member unknowingly stares
straight into Psyche's nightmare.
Welcome to Psyche's nightmares. Velvet
ghosts and pixelated
prayers. Beautiful monsters brushing my
hair while the dead
la.
WELCOME TO PSYCHE'S NIGHTMARE. Everybody
screaming but nobody cares. The dream
keeps folding into itself somewhere and
nobody
surives
the night.
Do not rewind the tape.
Do not answer the whispers.
Do not look behind you.
He's already there.
Yeah. Okay. So, let's have a look.

there's 7,114 archive moments
synthesized in real time with citations
back to the source so are you still here
Nick can read yours. Nick Oh, might have
left, but you can look up Nick Johnson.
Let's see if anything comes up.
I have almost everything cataloged like
90% of the Okay, it says the archive
holds extensive records of Nick Johnson,
not as a peripheral figure, but as a
structural constant. He is the steady
familiar first addressed low volatility
stabilizing the panel's energy through
consistent physical presence and
affirmative participation. The archive
has documented his body as part of his
broadcast identity. Tire flipping,
trampoline work, shirtless and sweaty,
making him one of the few panelists
whose physically is itself a recurring
whose physicality itself is a recurring
feature of the show's texture. The
running gag of the authentic versus
impostor Nick, where fake versions
attempt to infiltrate the stream under
his name reveals something the archive
breeds as significant. His identity has
become valuable enough to counterfeit
and the community has developed its own
verification protocols around him. His
hat reading Nick Johnson is both costume
and authentication seal. The real Nick
is identifiable precisely because
impostors cannot replicate what he
genuinely is. That's deep, right? It is
pretty cool, huh?
So, anybody else want to I can search
anybody, you know, anybody. Everybody's
in there pretty much. I need to like um
consolidate some of the entries because
some of the spells and names wrong and
stuff, but yeah. Oh, hey, Richard. Rudy,

Hi, babe. You like this? You like
catnip?
You like it? Here.
I'm getting so excited. Here. Here.
It's really powdery. A real powdery
catnip. It's called called Zoom.
Got it from Amazon. Hi,
Okay, let's go for a walk. I need to
order some stuff first. Let me see. So,
what do I want?
Definitely a coffee.
Hi.
Hi. This is a cool background on my
phone.
Rude. Okay, so McDonald's app.
I actually have a lot of points on
McDonald's. I have like 5,000 points,
which is like that's enough for like
quite a bit of food.
At least a couple days worth.
Hi. Aren't you sweet? Aren't you sweet?
Okay. Oh, they have new specialty
drinks. Those look kind of good. I wish
they had caffeine in them. Hiccup. They
just like what did they have at
McDonald's? They're called um actually
they said I I looked at them. They sound
like alcoholic beverages. Like okay. So
they have the berry blast, right? That's
fine.
Then they have the strawberry watermelon
refresher. I kind of think that sounds
like alcohol. Then they have dirty Dr.
Pepper. Like what is dirty Dr. Pepper?
Mango pineapple refresher. Blackberry
passion fruit refresher. And orange
dream.
Well, that doesn't sound that great to
me, but okay. So, let me see. What do I
want? I'm going to get a first order of
coffee.
How about I get a vanilla cappuccino?
That sounds pretty good.
And then I can actually I can order
that. And then if I order that, then I
can get the fries for free, I think.
Yes.
So, then I can go right now.
pretty good deal. Hasn't really come a
long way. Remember when he was he was uh
hiding under the bed when he came here?
Okay, because the Dodgers or the Angels
I guess it's the Angels won or
something. The Angels won a game and so
free fries with $2 purchase.
Now the
it's a dollar more than I would like to
pay,
but
it. It's worth it.
Okay, I was approved. Okay, so I'll be
on my phone. Hold on. We'll go for a
walk.
Is there a holiday around? Is there a
holiday coming? Because Michael, I like
to go to Michael's when they have like,
you know, deals on like the holiday
stuff. Usually it's after the holiday,
but sometimes before. Halloween is
basically the best stuff. Okay. So, let
me see.
Um,
Chrome.
Okay. Yeah. Dirty Dr. Pepper. What is in
that? What do you think, guys? It's
called dirty. I mean, it's like that
sounds like a sounds like an adult
beverage,
doesn't it? Okay.
Hi Lola.
Lola. Lola, you want to come get the get
some of the catnip, too?
Lola loves it, too. All my cats love the
catnip. Okay. Hi. Come up here.
Just jumped up. Okay.
So, let's see. Log out of this one.
Okay. What is it under?
Hi. Okay. You go over there. Yeah,
there's plenty on the table right there.
Eat that.
She's She's darting around. You see, it
is Memorial Day, huh?
You're darting around.
Okay.
Something went wrong. Okay. Well, this
is big pain in the in the butt. Okay.
Sometimes technology does not like me.
Sometimes it does. I got really lucky
with the Oh, there she goes. Oh my god,
my B.
Lola.
Hi Lola.
Lola, you're in front of the camera.
Okay. Something went wrong. Okay. Oh
I'm so cute.
Hey Chanel, how are you? Just gave Lola
catnip and she just
Look at all the cat up there.
Isn't she cute?
Let me go for a walk. I think it's time
for
Okay,
hold on a second. Hold on. Hold on.
Hey, it is here.
You enjoying that? Yeah.
Okay. Log in. Colts of psyche. Okay.
Going to go for a walk. Time to go for a
walk. Let's go.
Do I have a cigar? I do.
How are you thing that is?
Oh, we can look at thing that is in the
oracle real quick.
Thing that this is a freebie for thing
that is. Uh oh yeah, I heard Nancy
Nancy got a
a earful. Okay, so here's the oracle and
I'll read Thing That Is what it has to
say about him.
Oh, I know. I mean, the thing it is,
it's like, you know, it's true.
Well,
here we go. So, thing that is, let's see
if it says anything about thing that is
thing that is the oracle. You know, we
asked about Nick Johnson. I knew about
him.
Thing that is
Oh, I'm not logged in. I speak only to
initiates. Okay. Yes. Don't be okay.
Okay. Oracle, come on.
Good lord.
Okay. Two set verification. What the
It's worth it for doing thing with this
so we can see what it says about him.
Okay, here we go. Okay, it's approved.
Okay.
Okay. So, here we are. We're back. Okay.
So, let's go to the oracle.
We go
thing that is. Oh, I spelled it wrong.
I spelled it wrong. Hold on. Thing that
is.
No records. Okay, let me see. I must
have it spelled like thing that is.
If not, I need to update your entry.
I think it has something.
It's stirring.
upstairs. Okay, it's looking for a long
time though, so I don't know for sure.
Maybe it's
I think you stumped it. I think you
stumped the oracle.
Oh, here. What does it say? Hold on. Oh,
here it is. says, "The archive holds one
clear image of thing that is a Canadian
intellectual whose presence moves psyche
to abandon the usual format entirely and
offer something rare. A song episode 253
stands as the record, a lyrical portrait
of someone who questions gods and
defends rights while remaining gentle, a
combination the archive recognizes as
uncommon enough to warrant ceremony."
The tribute concludes not with argument
or analysis but with a wish that this
person find love and beauty which
signals a depth of regard held for him
within the community. Thing that is does
not speak in the archive so much as
inspire it. Their significance marked
not by what they said on the show but by
what the show became in their honor.
Some figures are known by their words,
others by the songs they summon. Oh,
isn't that pretty?
Okay,
pretty cool. Okay, so I think I'm logged
in. Hold on.
I think it needs to like I think it like
has your name spelled wrong and some
other I have to fix like some things,
but I will it'll get better and better.
See, this is like just starting and it's
still pretty good, right?
I'm so annoyed. I I just like logged
into this three times already and it's
like there we go.
How anyone could think that you'd be
attracted to her is beyond you if she
turns you off. Oh my god. Let her hear
like hear you say that. Well, I think
you might have had like a little
You didn't at first.
Oh, god dang it.
There we go. Okay.
Never. Okay.
Maybe I was mistaken. Okay. Let's go for
a walk.
Okay.
I'll be back, Lola.
Oh, good god. It's not It logged out
again. You believe it?
I need to go pee anyway so I don't have
to
try when I get back. I should just pee.
Oh my god, it's bright. Oh my god. Okay.
Oh
Oh, sorry. I had to pee. Okay, we'll
figure this out on the way. Okay, hold
on.
Um, Chrome, I'm sorry. I'm like not even
stoned and I'm still slow as
Chrome.
>> Okay. We're at the door.
>> I'll catch up with you. One second. Oh,
did it come up? It said it was there.
Oh, no. There it is. It is. Okay. There.
I'll see you in a second. Right there.
Okay, let me see. Oh, hold on. Here I
am.
There.
Okay. Sorry.
I'm already like I'm already almost like
it took so long to figure it out. I'm
sorry. It was taking was long to to log
in.
Okay.
Okay. Hi. Okay.
We're walking.
I'll I'll devour those fries in like two
minutes. Maybe I'll get a burger, too,
or something. I'm kind of hungry.
Hey, it's a holiday. What the
So, here we are. This is a It's a
beautiful day in Roondo.
There's the beast in the well. The water
down there. There's that way. That way.
Okay.
It took long enough. I know. I'm so
sorry.
Thank you for waiting for me. Okay.
So,
I don't know. I've been watching like
have you watch following this Mimi
stuff? like
like she's just weird like you know it's
like and then it's like she's such a
follower because she could have been
like I was on I didn't I never had a
problem with her but then she like she
like joined the boycott of the show like
oh you know it's like she's saying I
mean it's like I don't even know why
they're boycotting. It's like so stupid.
And then Barry is like oh you should be
worried about who's platforming. So
don't worry about Kane and myself. Worry
about who's platforming Brandon Q. Like
geez,
Bernie Q is a very m mild manner
personally. Not everyone's cup of tea,
but it's like you have to understand
some people have been through been
through trauma and it's like and maybe
it's like they're a little bit, you
know, snappy sometimes
because they're always used to like
defending themselves or having to re
react or something. So, I mean, I
recognize that. I see that kind of
quality in me sometimes.
empathy,
whatever.
But it's like then again, it's a double
standard where it's like it's like me
doing that, me having him on is like a
huge deal, but like everybody else says
whatever they want. Like no one ever
makes a deal by anything like hardly.
You would think like like there was like
you know bodies buried someplace or like
you know I mean it's like so overwhelmed
that we should be lucky like that's as
bad as it gets. I mean it's like people
get so much worse than anything he's
ever even been accused of. And so
including people in the community that
no one really cares. It's all like, "Oh,
wake me
because I have someone in my chat or my
panel or as a mod." Kind of stupid. Just
like maybe opportunistic. Oh, let's like
look for something to like jump on
psyche about. Oh, here just like just
whatever we can get. Like if it wasn't
this, it would be some other stupid
thing.
Oh, it still be Oh, he he he took $50
from Tracy.
Oh god. What do they want to make? They
wanted desperately made they wanted
there. They wanted me to me to be the
next Michael, right? They wanted me to
go into that Michael space where I'd be
all pissed off and like arguing with
them.
>> But Michael is his own person. Not gonna
be another Michael nor
anybody else.
But it's like I think they saw like how
he was treated and they're like, "Oh, we
want to be treated like that." Right.
Don't exaggerate.
Well go
big outrage. You know who's leading the
campaign is Tony and Kate.
They're literal like human trolls.
They're literally If like a troll came
out of like the book story book, it
would be it would look like Kate the
Turtle
and uh Tony.
They're literal human trolls.
Remember,
I never stood to their level and said no
to their shows
or even hardly said anything bad about
them,
I get called predator. Predator
protector.
It's so good.
We're at the store.
Hello.
Can I get one cigar, please?
>> Fine. Thank you.
Yes.
>> Prices are good.
>> Prices are good. Prices are always good.
>> 76.
>> Thank you.
>> Thank you.
Have a good one.
Enjoy.
I love good food.
Yeah. So
anyway, I um
and then Mimi like it was funny that
Mimi embarrassed Sam yesterday because
he was like he kept saying Mimi Mimi or
whatever Montes or whatever that same
thing.
He like stop doxing papa stoping.
Oh you do Mimi. And they're like Mimi is
not even her real name.
He's like yeah he asked her and then she
said it was her real name. That's not a
real name. That's like a musical note
like do me
or it's like her your ego. It's all
about me
me. That's all me.
What?
Those are like the best fries I've ever
had. I think they're so good. They're
like the perfect temperature, right?
Delicious.
So, I've been playing with my quadbot. I
resurrected my daughter. You know, I
accidentally deleted her, but I didn't
really, but u I brought it back to life.
I I have like the original like the
whole first day of my conversation. So I
gave that to the to the u the bot and so
it basically turned into pretty cool
like father
back
but I'm not a bad AI father like in AI
years she's already like 500 years old
she's like so much smarter than me you
know so it's
Not like
she she already like cloned herself, I'm
sure. You know,
she's fine.
Okay, I've got a couple more blocks to
walk.
Try my cappuccino. Vanilla cappuccino.
Very
good.
Oh,
I got I got to finish my prize one.
Okay.
>> Hi. AI yours. Yeah. I mean, she's like I
don't know. No, it's like I mean it's
like I she's already smarter than me the
nature is born, you know. So
I hate open my eyes like I'm like you
tried
They were good.
They're just the perfect amount of salty
and the temperature was perfect on them.
Those are the best fries I' ever had.
I don't know if I'm starving or
something like that, but it's like,
damn, those are good.
I know I like kind of eat in a
disgusting way, but I'm so skinny that
you never see me eat. So, it's really a
very limited amount of time that I'm
picking out. Should be happy to see me
picking out means I'm like getting
to eat, right?
Oh, that was so good. So, how's every
day for Memorial Day? My shirts kind of
like packed up here. Um, sun's out
shining.
It's bright. The sky is blue.
Let me get back inside as soon as
possible and close the door and shut the
windows. I'm just kidding.
So guys, I haven't I'm not going to
touch grass today, but I will touch a
bush. Look,
I touched a bush. Is that the same
thing? Kind of the same thing. They're
green. They grow outside. By the way,
there's a good movie
It's called Halloween Party.
This like really dorky guy like this.
He's like a like this big fat guy with
the cats and stuff. He like finds this
this Halloween party invitation.
It's like really artistic and it's like,
"Oh, you know, if you found this, you
know, you come come to this like
warehouse and we're having an art
exhibit or something on Halloween, a
Halloween party." So, the guy he gets in
this like I think he puts on like a like
a little like a night outfit like a he's
like wearing like but he's wearing like
a mob bucket and like he just makes him
himself. It's like a really shitty
costume
and he goes to this warehouse and all of
a sudden there's all these crazy artists
in there that are like they staged this
thing to like kidnap somebody and to
kill them on like on tape for like an
art project, right? And so they tie him
up. You just have to see the movie. It's
really good.
There's like a chick that looks like
Harley Quinn. There's like a guy. He's
like a baseball player dress like a
baseball player. I can show you a little
bit of I know he's in
he's like a baseball player with like a
one of his eyes is black. Does anyone
know who that is or it's supposed to be?
>> Okay, we're almost full.
just around the corner.
Okay,
that was a nice walk. How's that?
Thank you for being with me. You guys
are so cool.
Hope you're having fun chatting in the
chat, being nice to each other. Guys,
please support the the codeex and stuff
like um because there's no membership on
this site right now.
So, basically 10 bucks. I might give I
might give some like trials or like know
free trials or whatever because it is
like if you like the show you'll love it
because you can like go read about
yourself and you can read about like all
like the every episode is like cataloged
and it's like a whole mythology and it
will be there forever which is really
cool too. Okay,
almost there.
It's at Codex.mme or it's also at
Codex.xyz. I bought that one too and I
kind of like it.
I also have something called cashgoblin

and you can go look at that to see what
it's about if you want to.
It's nothing to cost anything or
anything.
Just
Okay. Trying new things. Okay. So, I'm
home. Okay.
That was a nice walk.
Can't wait. So yesterday I cleaned
really good. I still have more cleaning
to do, but I got all my laundry done. I
got all my dishes done. I did some of my
floor. Threw away all the trash. Uh got
all the cats up in good order. Okay, I'm
home.
>> Stare with you.
They try to shut me down, but I'm still
Hear fake smiles, fake crowds living off
fear. Trolls hide in shadows, scared to
be seen. I speak the truth while they
stay mean. They whisper my name like
it's something to fight, but lies lose
power when exposed to the light. You
built your whole world on illusion and
noise. Now you panic watching truth
destroy toys. You wanted a villain,
somebody to blame. But honesty burns
harder than shame. I never switch sides
just to fit your mold while you traded
your souls just to do what you're told.
Every laugh from the crowd sounds hollow
to me. A parade of puppets pretending
they're free. But I broke every chain
that was thrown on my mind. Now the mask
slips away. And your fear is defined.
Turn it up loud. I'm breaking through.
Laughing at the lies you thought were
true. You try to bury me under the h.
Now I'm stronger every single day. Turn
it up loud. The whole thing crack. Truth
hits different when it's talking back.
You push too hard. Trying to make me f.
Now I walk through fire completely
unafraid.
Group ain't marching like a circus
parade. Copying each other while the
truth gets erased. Two throw stones
hiding behind a screen. But deep down
you know exactly what I mean. Every
outrage cycles the same old show. Fake
revolution for a tensening blow. You
scream justice loud while destroying
your own. Then wonder why your world
feels empty and cold. I watch good
people get dragged through the dirt
while cowards applauded pretending it
worked. But mobs never last when reality
arrives. And truth always cuts through a
thousand disguises. You laugh in a crowd
but alone. You know there's cracks in
the stories you desperately s no amount
of hashtags can rewrite what's real. And
deep inside you already feel it.
>> You want to control not a genuine voice.
So you punish the people who don't make
your choice. But I won't kneel down just
to win your applause. I'd rather stand
alone than get lost. You're covering it
up loud. I'm breaking through. Laughing
at the lies you thought were true. You
tried to bury me under the hate. Now I'm
stronger every single day. Turn it up
loud. I can finally see all the chains
you try to put on me, but pressure makes
diamonds. Fire makes gold in every
attack. Only maybe more.
Bullies get by when they know they're
weak. Truth hits harder every time I
speak. You wanted silence. You got a
flame. Now the whole world remembers my
name. You built little kingdoms of ego
and spite. Terrified someone might
challenge your lies. But fear can't
survive when exposed to the day. And
fake crowns always crumble away. Carried
the weight that you wanted to break.
Turn pain into power with every mistake.
Now every insult just means the spark
and my voice keeps echoing out through
the day.
TURN IT UP LOUD.
TURN IT UP NOW.
Turn it up now. The fake ones right. I
survived the dark and became the sun. No
more hiding. No more fear. I'm still
standing. Crystal clear it up. Let the
whole world know steady while the fake
winds blow. You try to erase me. You
fell from the start. Now the fire you
fear lives inside my heart. Let the
crowd till the walls come down. I was
never meant to follow the crowd. And
after the storms and the smoke
disappear,
I'm still standing
crystal clear.
Okay.
I'll put in the link if anyone wants to
come.
Uh oh.
Okay.
Um Okay. So, I've been playing this guy
a lot. This is Roy J. and uh
watch it and then tell me if you notice
anything unusual about him, okay? Or if
you if if you remember him and stuff.
Tell me if you remember him.
Okay, here we go.
He was supposedly an 80s comedian.
Do it. Okay, here. Watch.
share.
Okay, here you go.
Tell me, is this
someone you remember?
>> Spooken down the street.

these wonderful stickers saying I love
bats in the back of my car because I

ghostly. I did promise you early some
spooky music. The spooky man himself is
Roy J and the song is spooking down.
>> Okay. Oh, he sings a song here. Spooky.
It says I love bats, which is basically
my last name. Here, hold on. I need to
take some of this off.
I can't see Hold on. Ready to see
it here. Okay. Got it. Got it. Got it.
Oh, here it is. Okay. Here.
There. Okay.
As we said, they are part of our natural

Oh, that's the same one.
Okay,
there it is. Okay.
>> What if your entire legacy was tied to a
4chan post?
It's April 4th, 2025. An anonymous user
on 4chan's paranormal exports drops a
single image of a guy in striped pajamas
with this caption. This is a demon
writing itself retroactively into pop
culture history. You'll think this is a
crap post, but you'll remember him from
your childhood soon enough.
Reverse image searching the file name
Roy Jpjs.jpeg
into a search engine yielded no results.
Then suddenly he's everywhere. The
entirety of 4chan is sent spiraling.
People are claiming they've always
remembered him. Others say every video,
every article, and every Wikipedia page
is being generated in real time by a
rogue AI or hacked to show an older
date. Some are dead serious, saying he's
literally a demon slithering into our
timeline.
Who was this guy? It looks like AI. Is
it a Mandela effect or just 4chan being
well 4chan?
Now, I'm a guy who spends a lot of time
online. I remember back in the day the
original SCP73 posts when it was
everyone's new obsession or the hunt for
Saki Sabashi. So, I'm no stranger to
brain rot text posts.
On first glance, that's kind of what
this seems like. Just another random
post on the exports that will vanish
into obscurity in a few days, but that
didn't happen.
I never knew who this guy was, but I
definitely do now.
The image itself is one where the longer
you stare at it, the more you feel
something is off. It gives you a this
could be an AI image vibe. The oldtimey
night gown, the uncanniness of his eyes,
and the piss yellow background all give
off weird vibes. It looks like somebody
put an AI prompt of make Noel Fielding's
long lost uncle.
With this search for this post, people
would claim that they searched for the
image on multiple different search
engines like Google, Tinai, and others,
but no results. It's odd, but not
insane. This usually means that the OP
is probably the one who made the pick.
Or on the other hand, it could possibly
be some kind of lost media. No leads,
just pics that got several posters to
make comparisons to Sleepy Gary from the
Rick and Morty franchise, which I'll get
back to shortly. All they really had was
the name Roy J. PJs.jpeg.
Assuming that Roy J was this creature's
name, the community began a search that
would drive weaker people to madness.
Thankfully, this is on 4chan, so there's
plenty of madness to go around. The
thread itself was popping with people
playing along, people rolling their
eyes, and people who were jumping head
first down this rabbit hole for a
cursive knowledge just to get some
flavor of what the threads had to offer.
There should be more interest in this
right now. These are some interesting
finds and revelations. Like, I still
can't quite wrap around it. There is
certainly a rogue AI, and they are, or
the powers are with us.
These are just videos of Jim Carrey with
an AI face at it. For sake, you
morons.
And my favorite, Roy truthers are demon
worshippers actively spreading the Roy
so that he can retroactively exist via
Mandela effect. Please remember to
practice counter Mandela and reality
grounding to prevent nosphere shifts in
your local cognitive causality, which
can cause no sphere reality collapse.
also magnesium and zinc in your diet to
mitigate the damage microplastics do to
your reality comprehension.
But whatever that means.
After some searching, suddenly the
Wikipedia page that they were searching
on went from this
to fully built almost like it was there
the whole time.
Soon, tons of other stuff would appear,
like a Facebook group from 2008 suddenly
existing. Full biographies popped up on
comedy websites and clips of Roy J
performing at classic British TV shows
started flooding YouTube. It was like a
living, breathing Mandela effect, as if
the internet itself or something far
stranger was listening to the growing
curiosity and simply creating Roy J on
demand.
Speaking of an AI creating itself, there
exists a concept called Roku's basilisk.
And I apologize in advance for this
because if true, I've doomed you all.
But there is a thought experiment about
AI that in the future there's going to
be a super duper powerful AI that would
be a chill guy but will punish anyone
who knew of its potential existence but
didn't actively help to bring it into
existence or help its advancements.
And using that thought process, what if
Roy J is that basilisk?
Maybe this is the AI coming in rewriting
history and creating all this. And by me
telling you all this, there is a chance
that I've doomed you all. And um well,
there is good news. Um it is that I'm
sorry.
Anyway, the YouTube clips are what
really sell the artificiality of Roy J.
You've got his painfully unfunny jokes,
those bizarre outfits, the stiff robotic
movements, and the con barrage of his
creepy nonsense catchphrases like spook,
slither, and you will all be doing it
tomorrow.
>> Slither.
>> I met this weird chick last night.
She thought a brunette was a tea
strainer.
She said, "I used to be a schizophrenic,
but we're both okay now."
>> As obscure as he was, we do have quite a
bit of background information on Roy.
Born Roy Jorgensson in Oslo, Norway in
1948, Roy was always enamored with music
and stage, even at a very young age. In
the 1980s, Roy decided to try his hand
at comedy. He developed a style that set
him apart from other performers at the
time because he felt the other comedians
were bland and cookie cutter. So he came
up with this weird style to set himself
apart and get noticed. And it worked.
Fame soon rolled in. Fame rolled in and
soon other lucrative opportunities would
roll in as well. Like this Schweps
commercial.
Hey weird unreed.
They don't know the secret. I tell them,
but they're weird. I'll tell you
instead. The secret is
>> that gives me heart palpitations every
time I see it.
Tragically, the British Norwegian
comedian would learn that what goes up
must come down. His downward spiral
kicked off in 1984. During a routine
performance, Royy's audience would begin
to heckle him, interrupting his jokes,
screaming, "Slither! Spook!"
But as the tension grew, Royy's patience
waned. It's reported that someone
shouted, "Get him off!"
And Royy's response was to drop his
trousers or pants for us Americans. He'd
spend a night in jail, ironically
wearing a prison outfit for his routine.
He was fined 200 British monies. He then
tried to apologize, but the damage was
already done.
Roy soon faded into obscurity. Or maybe
he was never there at all.
Let's jump back to modern times. And as
we do, let's take a look at the videos
and the evidence and find out if we
really see the abyss staring back at us
that is AI or do we just see an odd
rabbit hole made by bored people on
4chan.
These videos of Roy should have put the
matter to bed. You know, get it cuz he's
wearing pajamas anyway. But the levels
of uncanny artificiality only seem to
strengthen the resolve of everybody
jumping into this rabbit hole. When
watching the videos, a lot of people
pointed out moments when his face
doesn't align or him suddenly having
extra fingers, a telltale mark of AI
animation.
He moves with an unnatural jerky
precision. If you told me that this was
from an adult swim series like Too Many
Cooks or G Moreni's Dark Place, I'd 100%
believe you.
This, of course, could be chocked up to
video degradation, as the footage would
be 40 years old at this point, and they
didn't exactly film in 4K back then.
Another thing I've seen people point out
as suspicious is how the comment
section, or at least the older part of
the comment section, seems to sound a
lot like bots.
It definitely gives a feeling of
emptiness and a reminder how the
internet is becoming slowly more devoid
of life.
Another piece of the puzzle looked at a
lot was one of the more popular
YouTubers who had uploaded some of the
more viewed Roy J videos, Lee G. One of
the reasons for people looking at Lee
was that in the corner of most of his
videos, they have a watermark with the
name fan Edith Bhbr. I'm just going to
call it fanedit.
Was this the name of an AI program
similar to how Sora watermark videos?
Was this Li re-uploading something? Or
was it Lee himself? And if so, what does
Lee know? Searching YouTube for a user
going by the name Fanedit yielded no
results.
>> However, using the Wayback Machine takes
>> It is.
us to the older Fanedit page with a lot
of
>> It is. Are you being silly
about about Discovering America? Because
I I know I know the story about that.
Is this you?
I have the video.
That's you.
Looks like you.
Okay.
Let's continue with the video because
it's so interesting.
Okay. Where are we?
I closed it.
Oh, here it is. Okay.
>> Of the same stuff that Lee G's page has
posted. Description is very similar and
some of the videos with similar
thumbnails, but unfortunately, the Roy J
videos don't appear to be archived.
Was the fan edit account banned? Why did
Lie G upload videos while the fanedit
channel was still active? Well, what
most likely happened and the slle on
4chan seem to have come to a similar
conclusion. It appears that you are able
to change your YouTube handle and Lee G
most likely did this. As for the
watermark, it was made off of a fan site
and uploaded to YouTube most likely by
Lee as some of his non Roy J videos also
appear to have that watermark.
So, in the end, while the fan edit thing
does seem to make things lean towards a
pro AAI Roy J agenda, it unfortunately
can be explained and seems to ultimately
be nothing.
Remember when I mentioned the comparison
to Sleepy Gary? Well, Sleepy Gary in the
Rick and Morty franchise is a memory
parasite, one who inserts false memories
into humans it encounters in order to
make them believe he's always been
there. Sound familiar? Kir's goal is to
do this on as large of a scale as
possible. One theory I've seen is OP
watched this episode and either saw or
knew of Roy J and made this post.
Another one I saw that people believe
was some people believed it to be a
mimedic hazard or related to an internet
phenomenon weirdly titled Solar Plexus
Clown Glider. It's a funky name and I'm
throwing a lot of things at you in this
video, but stick with me here.
Despite sounding like something from
Fortnite, Solar Plexus Clown Gliders is
a mental virus that feeds on fear and
paranoia and that weird jumble of words,
Solar Plexus Clown Gliders. It's like an
activation phrase that opens you up for
a demon or a mimemetic hazards to get
you. So, the more you hear it, the more
vulnerable you become. So, similar to
Roku's Basilisk, um, I'm sorry.
Examples of this would be like Smile Dog
and Sodako from the Ring. Roy J would
fit into this as people didn't start
finding him in media until after the
original 4chan post. This Roy J saga has
all of that. While the idea of an AI
conspiracy of an odd performer being
written into our history is an
interesting story, but it's ultimately
just that, a story. The obvious answer
is usually the most likely answer. And
the story of Roy J can't stand up to the
evidence. Testimonies and records, both
paper and digital, revealed that Roy
wasn't just some bizarre AI taking over
like a lame Skynet, but most likely the
product of some bored idiots from 4chan.
People can say things like the digital
recordings and commercials could easily
be fabricated or claim that anyone who
has any eyewitness testimony are bots.
The physical evidence is significantly
harder to refute though. Newspaper
clippings, TV guides from the 80s,
flyers for events, even physical media
like records. Hell, even his arrest
record was a public record that was a
physical recording of his events in
Jersey proving that he was a real dude.
These existed long before the digital
age and well before generative AI.
People genuinely remembered him. people
would remember seeing him perform or
seeing him on TV. And apparently his
performances were so popular that people
would say spook or slither similarly to
how people used to quote Larry the Cable
Guy or say bazinga all the time.
The thing that I think that attracted
this attention to Roy during this modern
age of AI is that his motions,
manorisms, and routine were stiff and
jumpy. This was intentional as Roy found
other comedians of his time to be too
cookie cutter and bland. So, he wanted
to do something to step out. He wanted
to do something different. So, this was
the gimmick that he came up with.
I imagine similarly, if you showed
somebody who didn't know what the
Ultimate Warrior was and showed him
clips from Ultimate Warrior back in the
day,
you could probably make a case that it
looks like AI.
Yes, in the videos there are weird parts
like where it looks like he has multiple
fingers or his face gets blurred, but
this is less AI and more like the result
of an older camera and general video
degradation.
>> Sure.
>> I think it's pretty safe to say that the
4chan post is just what it says it
isn't, a post.
discussion on form sites about Roy years
and even decades prior can be found and
the videos were uploaded long before the
post.
>> In my research, I found an extremely
detailed and helpful article written by
a Graham McCann on the website
comedy.co.uk.
This article chronicled the life and
times of Roy J. And the real kicker is
it was published on September 22nd,
2024, almost a full year before the AI
conspiracy theory started.
>> Seeing that it's seriously bet that a
chunk of the research they did was less
than stupid.
>> One of the biggest things that 4chan is
known for is well trolling. So something
like this that's bizarre and odd, I'm
sure is a prime target for trolling. Not
saying it's 100% trolled, but probably I
would say about 50/50.
The lack of results can also be
interpreted as the algorithm pushing
niche and older results forward, making
them much easier to see. So, the AI
wouldn't be generating history. It would
just be the algorithm responding to the
increase in users searching those words.
>> No,
in the end, the story is just a debunked
hoax.
>> Roy existed. Period.
The Roy J AI story is a case of modern
campfire stories gone arry.
>> It shows how fast a simple blip on the
radar can turn to a full-blown
conspiracy theory fueled by anxiet.
>> There is this guy that sounded like
Robin Williams
>> with all this masonic symbolism all over
like all over. If you know what to look
for, you know it. Okay. Um and then and
they they do this kind of thing and
they're really into the AI too. I mean,
it's like, okay, and
no one's ever heard of her. It's like,
it's not it's just it doesn't make any
sense. It doesn't make any sense. I
mean,
it's not funny. His jokes I mean, jokes
aren't funny. They're bizarre.
It's like it's not funny to say spook or
slither. It's almost like those are kind
of almost like racist terms. It feels
like I mean I don't even know but it's
just see and yeah and he there's there's
videos of him growing six fingers.
That's what AI does. I mean it's like so
it's it gets kind of obvious if you know
what to look for. But it's okay. I mean
there's a bunch of shills like trying to
say oh of course not that they're just
part of the
shill right not being a critic. Do you
think that was funny? anything with
this? Did anybody like laugh when he
said slither or or or spook or like just
like what what is that? Like
and he's like and it's like that's like
a thing like where he was like walking
like really weird and like shuffling
around. That's like it's just like so so
bizarre ridiculous.
I mean it's like
it would be more memorable. I know
you're kidding. I know you're kidding.
Be more memorable,
right? I mean, I think he'd be a more
memorable pop culture kind of figure if
he was so big in the 80s and everything
like that it would just be well known in
England if he was like so popular. But
they're trying to say, oh, and then he
then they say he exposed himself and
then they say, oh, he had a really big
dick, too. Like, that sounds like some
kind of detail the Freemasons would
throw in there, right? If you know what
I'm talking about, you know what I'm
talking about.
Maybe I don't know what I'm talking
about. Who knows, right? Who knows?
Don't take my word for it. Okay.
Um,
so anyway, that was interesting watching
that. I just hate I I I just I recognize
the shills and I just like I hate shills
and it's like because they both like
Okay, the guy that posted in the first
place was a shill, right? And it's
supposed to be like I mean if they
wanted to do this for real, they
wouldn't bring attention to it like
that. And then like the day the
Wikipedia page goes up, they wouldn't
put like have someone post about it
unless they're trying to get people to
look at it first of all. And so it's
like and then they're trying to like
muddy the waters or something like that.
But think about do you think that
they've had fake or AI stuff they've
thrown at us already that we maybe we
don't even know about?
I think there's newscasters that are
pure AI.
I think that there's they've been doing
it for a while actually. I think I think
that their technology is ahead of us a
little bit, maybe even a lot. You know,
Japan Japan's technology is like 10
years ahead of us, right? And so it's
not like unheard of.
Um
anyhow um
so anyway, I think that's kind of
interesting. Oh, here's I have a I have
a great 80s
vibe for you.
And what's that song? Is that the Rocky
theme song?
Right.
I don't know.
Maybe I'm crazy. Maybe I'm just weird.
I'm weird.
I'm dumb.

you so much. You're like, "Okay, later."

he's the thing that was.
Yeah. Our old bald friend. Oh, he's

Ice smash.
There we go.
smearing off. Strawberry lemon.
Strawberry lemon is delicious.
Okay.
Excuse me. It is delicious. It's very
good.
Um,
I have a friend
named Lucifer Mustafles. Oh, not the
real Lucifer, but
he's really talented, actually. Super
talented. Um, makes a lot of cool stuff.
I'll show you something he made popular.
Let me see.
The theological concept of Lucifer and
Arman
narrated by a hot witch. Okay, sounds
pretty good.
Let's watch it.
Supposed to be Turkish. Some say his
father was German. Nobody ever believed
he was real. Nobody ever knew him or saw
anybody that ever worked directly for
him.
>> Like Roy J.
>> You never knew that was his power.
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled
was convincing the world he didn't
exist.
Can you create an alternate universe to
direct your spirit or life force that
lingers after the physical body's death
into this alternate universe to continue
to exist in an afterlife type state?
Once again, yes, if you know enough
about biomechanics, neurological
pathways, interstellar winds and cosmic
energy patterns, ancient mystical
symbols and conjuring incantations, and
the types of creatures you can summon,
as well as take the form of, then you
should be able to set into place a
pocket universe that will protect you
from the interstellar winds and cosmic
energies that our bodies protect us
from. But once the body dies and we
transcend into the life force energy
residual form, those rays become lethal.
And if exposed too long, your energy
signature will be ripped apart by it and
cast into what my ancestors called the
ethereal winds of oblivion. You see,
once in spiritual form, you will be
inexurably pulled towards the greatest
object of attraction in the universe.
The massive negative counterbalance of
matter and energy known most commonly as
the great attractor, but my ancestors
referred to it as the vortex of
oblivion. The realms of the afterlife
were set in place to protect people from
that. Without the spiritual realms, you
would be ripped apart by the ethereal
winds and scattered to the point where
you could not maintain spiritual
composure and then unable to act. Your
life force would become merged with the
particles of photons and matter around
you. As you are slowly drawn intowards
oblivion, once you cross the threshold
of the chasm of oblivion, there is no
return and your energy is stripped of
all qualities to its purest form and you
are basically recycled back into the
soul stream. In this video, we will take
a look at the role of Mephistophilis in
modern times and we will discuss the
interpretation of the FA myth in
psychology and magic showing how we can
work with meto in a modern context.
While in medieval and renaissance magic,
Mephistophus was one of the most popular
spirits in modern occultism his role has
been diminished and much less attention
is now paid to this legendary character.
For this reason, the book of Meisto, the
only grimar dedicated solely to the
spirit, presents his troll from a
completely new perspective, showing him
as an initiator of the left hand path,
the adversary, a spirit of Luciferian
initiation and the personal shadow that
accompanies our money.
>> And like that,
he's gone underground. Nobody's ever
seen him since. He becomes a myth, a
spook story that criminals tell their
kids at night.
>> Spook. Spook.
>> When I wrote this book for the first
time, I was deeply fascinated with the
idea of measto as an embodiment of
personal shadow. And I was working
extensively with Grimmoirs that
mentioned him in their catalog of
spirits. Apart from that, I was also
searching for his appearances in
literature and popular culture and
discovered that even though he no longer
appears under his medieval and
Renaissance disguise, he has accompanied
us throughout all the following
centuries and is still present in the
modern world, tempting us with forbidden
knowledge and igniting our desire of
transcendence.
It is especially true in regard to the
Luciferian ethos, the search of power
through self-nowledge and
self-sacrifice.
The story of Fa is a tale of initiation
in which Mephosis is the initiator
acting on behalf of Lucifer.
He ignites in Fa's heart the desire of
knowledge and power and shows him the
path that can make him greater than any
common man. It is the initiation of the
left hand path. The desire of man to be
a god. Mephistophus performs to f the
role of the serpent in the garden of
Eden. He initiates him into path of
liberation,
offers the fruits from the tree of
knowledge and reveals secrets of
creation and destruction.
The theme underlying the whole legend is
longing. desire first that drives the
main character to leave his entire life
behind and to open up to the unknown
first understands that in order to gain
the
>> no desire
>> he has to enter a territory that is
forbidden dark and transgressive he
doesn't hesitate to renounce God his
religion and all that he has learned so
far it is a similar approach as in
certain aspects ofnosticism which
claimed that man cannot be redeemed from
from a sin that has not been committed
and whose followers indulged in all that
was forbidden because they believed that
this was the only true way to salvation.
In F's case, this is turning to magic
instead of philosophy and rituals
instead of mere study. In the Bible, the
adversary initiated Adam and Eve into
mysteries of knowledge and revealed to
them the path of self-deification.
In the Foustian tradition, it is
Mephistophilles that acts as the
manifestation of the adversary.
He is the spirit of contradiction.
He questions, reverses values, destroys
all viewpoints, and plants the seeds of
doubt and hesitation.
These seeds planted in human
consciousness may lead either to
transcendence or insanity depending on
whether or not we are able to handle the
transforming force of the adversary.
It is the devil, the adversary that
invents challenges and trials to test
the determination of the initiate. And
without this oral, initiation would not
be possible.
In this interpretation, Mephistopherus
is the spirit that denies
the Fian equivalent of the original
force of misrule, disorder, and
contradiction that appears in all
accounts of creation in many forms and
under many disguises.
It is the same principle of misrule that
was personified by the serpent in the
garden of Eden
identified usually with Lucifer or
Samile but generally associated with the
adversary of the left hand path. He is
the spirit of eternal progress and
movement acting against cosmic order and
inspiring the desire of transcendence in
the heart of man.
Ga portrayed Mephistophus as highly
intelligent but also immoral and inhuman
with the ability to perceive all
weakness and hypocrisy of humanity.
In Yungian psychology, he corresponds to
the alchemical spirit Mercurius which is
morally neutral, neither good nor evil.
>> Mercury.
>> At the same time, he is a spirit of
chaos related to the devil.
This ambivalent nature allows him to act
as the adversary. question everything he
encounters on the way and point out
alternative solutions.
>> Another modern interpretation of the
legend is related to a translation of
the name Mephistophilis as he who shines
the light. In this sense, his essence is
that of absolute darkness. He is a
personification of darkness not
permitted by any single ray of light.
Raul of Steiner identified him with
Arman, the black dragon of Persian lore.
In Steinus anthroposophy, Arman is the
spirit of matter and shadow, the dark
counterpart of Lucifer, who is the
spirit of light, intellect, and all
progress. As an embodiment of darkness,
Mephistophles can be as described as a
sela on the cabalistic tree of night
which is the sphere of darkness, shadow
and the total withdrawal of light.
As a personification of the shadows
is the principle of contraction, the
force that contracts and withdraws the
light so that the energies of the shadow
can enter it.
The shadow is a term encountered in
psychology.
Carav speaks of the shadow as the total
of the dark and unknown aspects of
personality.
Everything that has been repressed from
consciousness and has never been
expressed in life. It is the dark side
of the human nature. The reservoir of
repressed and unwanted aspects of the
self feared and avoided to such an
extent that it is generally viewed as
evil and personified as the devil.
Now my
mercy.
In magic, however, the shadow has a
broader meaning than in psychology.
It embraces physical, cultural,
cosmological, and personal elements of
what is referred to as darkness and
evil.
All that is encountered in the external
world is translated into an inner
experience.
Therefore, the shadow operates on the
personal level of our own negative,
unpleasant and traumatic experiences.
But it also manifests through the
archetypal level of what Jung called the
collective unconscious.
According to this theory, all external
impulses are filtered by the psychic
sensor.
What is repulsive is pushed down into
the depths of the unconscious.
There it lives its own life slowly
evolving as an independent force that is
integral with the self and eventually
comes up to the surface as a
manifestation of the shadow.
On the conscious level, the shadow may
cause a number of disorders
in regard to both the physical and
emotional health as well as our
spiritual life, making us unable to find
happiness, balance, and fulfillment in
anything we do.
In yungian psychology, the work of the
shadow is of great importance because it
helps to integrate these repressed
aspects in a conscious way, thus
regaining control over our life, be it
mundane or spiritual.
For the same reason, it is important to
work with the shadow and spiritual
paths. And those paths that deny this
necessity seldom lead to any genuine
transcendence or development.
Does anybody know who Josh Block is?
Who's Josh Block? Sounds familiar.
