A Japanese cat figurine with a waving paw that brings good luck. According to folk lore, a poor Japanese woman who couldn't afford to feed her cats prayed for help, received inspiration to create these clay cat figures, and was able to feed her cats by selling them. The left paw raised means one thing, the right paw another. They are displayed in businesses for good luck and represent the 'As Above So Below' principle of beckoning abundance.
