The defense strategy, as documented: present the animal. Trixs appeared on camera, demonstrated affection, and was argued — persuasively, per the record — to be happy and cared for. The Codex notes that this is the second entry in the archive's long jurisprudence of feline exculpation (see: The Cat Defense, events wing; the Cat Question, basement). The cat has never lost a case.
