Well, this is this is more like Tibetan, but let's see. Maybe Good Times will watch it with me and he'll be quiet when I play it. >> Have you ever wondered where a whole civilization comes from? Many cultures
have incredible origin stories, but few are as captivating as the Tibetan tale of a monkey and an ogris. It's a story of compassion, desire, and the very beginning of the Tibetan people on the roof of the world. Our story begins with a special monkey, a bodhisatta in disguise. He was sent by the sublime Avalocitvara, the embodiment of
compassion, to the snowy lands of Tibet to meditate. Picture this, a lone monkey deep in contemplation amidst the vast silent mountains focusing on love, kindness, and the nature of reality. But his solitude was soon broken. A rockogris, tormented by her own karmic past, stumbled upon him. She was
instantly drawn to the holy monkey. Her raw primal desires overwhelming her. She made her intentions clear, but the monkey, bound by his sacred vows, couldn't possibly be with her. The ogris, however, was desperate. Disguising herself as a beautiful woman, she pleaded with the monkey to marry
her. "If you refuse me," she cried, I will kill myself. The monkey was steadfast. I am a disciple of Avalokvara, he explained. I cannot break my vows. Her desperation then turned into a terrifying threat. Alas, great monkey king. She wailed. If you will not
have me, I will find a rockogre husband. Together we will unleash chaos. Every day we will slaughter 10,000 living beings, and every night we will devour a thousand more. I will bear countless ogre children. And this entire land will become a dark kingdom of ogres. Every living thing will be our prey. Is it not better to show me your compassion and
prevent this horror? The monkey was thrown into a moral crisis. Marrying her would mean breaking his sacred vows. But refusing her would lead to unimaginable suffering and destruction. What was the right thing to do? He knew he couldn't make this decision alone. In an instant, he magically transported himself to
Mount Podila, the celestial abote of Avalokara. He laid out his dilemma before the compassionate one. "What should I do?" he pleaded. An ogris, driven by a desire. Threatens to destroy my vows. How can I protect them without causing a greater tragedy? Avalichuar's response was simple and direct. Mary the
rocks. And from the heavens, the voices of other divine beings echoed in agreement. Excellent indeed. This union wasn't just about two individuals. >> How long does this video go? >> Greater purpose. It was destined to ensure that one day the teachings of the Buddha would flourish in Tibet that spiritual guides would arise and that
the land would be filled with prosperity and happiness. So the Bodhisata monkey and the rockogris were united. From their marriage, six children were born, each with a completely different nature reflecting the six realms of existence. One child from the hell realms had a grim face and could endure incredible
hardship. Another from the realm of hungry ghosts had a grotesque appearance and an insatiable appetite. The child from the animal realm was dull and simple. The one from the human realm was blessed with growing wisdom and sensitivity. The child from the demigod realm was competitive and jealous. And finally, the one from the realm of the
gods was patient and virtuous, a complete spectrum of personalities. Born from this unlikely pair, the monkey father led his six children to a forest brimming with fruit trees where they lived for three years. When he returned to check on them, he was shocked. His six children had multiplied into 500. They had devoured every last
fruit in the forest and were now starving, crying out, "Father, what can we eat? Mother, what can we eat?" They were desperate and helpless. The monkey realized this wasn't just a random occurrence. It was the unfolding of a greater plan set in motion by Avalokar's command. So once again, he returned to Mount Pila for guidance. I am mired in
this mess because I followed your instructions. He lamented to the sublime one. My compassion was twisted by desire and now I'm trapped. My children are like a city of hungry ghosts. I beg you. Avalichara heard his plea. I shall protect your progeny. He promised. He then reached into a crevice on the
cosmic mount Sam and pulled out grains of barley, wheat, peas, buckwheat, and rice. He scattered these seeds across the land of Tibet. Miraculously, where they fell, crops began to grow instantly, requiring no cultivation at all. The monkey father led his hungry children to these fields. He cried out
zodding which means eat. And to this day the place is known as zoding gumpuri. As the monkey children ate these magical grains a remarkable transformation began. Their hair and tails grew shorter. They started to stand upright and incredibly they learned to speak. They had become human. They fashioned
clothes from leaves and settled in the land. This myth explains the origin of the Tibetan people and the duality of human nature. The descendants of the monkey father's lineage are said to be patient compassionate faithful and eloquent. They delight in virtue and kindness. But the descendants of the rock mother's lineage carry different
traits. They can be more passionate, competitive, strong willed, and sometimes prone to anger, greed, and jealousy. This story beautifully illustrates that both these sets of qualities, the calm and the chaotic, the virtuous and the visceral, exist within the Tibetan people and perhaps within all of us. In those early days, Tibet
was a land of dense forests and flooded valleys. The new humans worked together, digging channels to drain the water, turning the plains into fertile fields, and building the first cities. It was into this burgeoning civilization that the first king of Tibet, Niatri Senpo, is said to have arrived, establishing the structure of society as we know it.
And that is the incredible story of how the Tibetan people descended from a sacred monkey and a passionate rock. It's a tale that weaves together compassion nature spirituality and the very essence of what it means to be human. Across centuries, languages, and all kinds of people, Ganesha keeps showing up at the doorway. He's not some distant, untouchable god you only approach when you feel pure
enough. He's a presence you invite in when you're about to do something, start something, risk something, change something. When you're standing in that weird threshold moment, half excitement, half fear, Ganesha is the one people call first because he's not just the remover of obstacles. He's also the revealer of them. And that really
matters because sometimes the obstacle isn't a curse. Sometimes it's a truth, a bad plan, a wrong timing, an ego issue, a missing piece, a lesson your life refuses to let you skip. Gananish's relevance through time isn't an accident. He's a timeless symbol of how
humans actually live. We begin things. We mess up. We try again. We ask for help. We learn. And we build. So, who is he? If you've seen him, you remember him. Elephant head, big belly, come eyes. Often seated like a king who isn't
in a hurry. Sometimes holding a sweet a modaga as if to say, "Yes, life is hard, but yes, sweetness is still allowed. There's always a kind of paradox to him. He's powerful but approachable, divine but friendly, majestic but almost playful. He's the kind of god that feels like he understands people. There are
many stories about how he came to have an elephant head and different traditions tell it differently, but the emotional core of most versions is the same. Gananisha is formed from love and protection. He stands guard. A misunderstanding happens. A clash of power. And then something is repaired and transformed so that the guardian
returns stronger than before. This is one reason he lasts through time. He's not a god of perfection. He's a god of transformation after conflict. A god who says even what's been broken can become sacred. And then there's what he represents. Ganesha is often called the lord of beginnings. People invoke him at
the start of rituals, journeys, new businesses marriages studies housewarmings, you name it. And that's not just religious tradition. It's psychological genius because beginnings are where we freeze. Beginnings are where the mind invents 10,000 reasons to wait until we feel ready. Beginnings are where fear dresses up as wisdom.
Beginnings are where we demand certainty in a world that only offers probability. So cultures kept a symbol at the start, a ritual to break inertia. A name you say before the first step, a reminder start anyway. That's not small. That's a technology of survival. Now he has another title, Vinarta, the remover of
obstacles. Yes, but also Vnarta, the placer of obstacles. People sometimes don't know that second part, and it's spicy in the best way because it means Gananisha isn't just a wish machine. He isn't here to bulldo reality so your ego gets everything it wants. Sometimes the obstacle is mercy. Sometimes the
obstacle is a stop sign that saves you. Sometimes the obstacle is there because you're trying to begin the wrong thing. And if you've ever had a plan fall apart and later realized it protected you from something worse, then you already understand this aspect of Ganesha. You've lived it. This is why he stays relevant through time. He speaks to the
real relationship humans have with fate. Now let's talk symbolism because Ganesha is basically a living teaching. The elephant head elephants are associated with memory, intelligence, presence, dignity and sheer grounded strength. Not frantic power study power. The big ears listen more than you speak. The small
eyes focus discernment not distraction. The trunk adaptable precise strong. It can approot a tree or pick up a needle. That's mastery power with finesse. The large belly represents the ability to digest life to hold both joy and pain without becoming bitter. To contain contradictions and this sweets, the
modaga are often said to represent the sweetness of realization of spiritual reward of the fruit of practice. It's like a promise. Yes, you do the work and yes, there is sweetness at the end. Not always immediate, but real. And then there's the mouse, his vehicle. This one is incredible. The mouse represents
desire restless nibbling persistent hard to control. And Ganisher rides it. He doesn't destroy desire or pretend he's above it. He masters it. He directs it. That's such a modern lesson, it's almost rude. We're in a time where our attention is eaten alive by a million little mice. notifications, impulses,
doom scrolling, compulsions. Gananisha says, "You don't have to hate your desire. You have to train it. Put it to work." Write it. Don't let it ride you. Historically, Gananish's presence grew and spread massively through India and beyond. And he became one of the most widely beloved deities in the Hindu tradition. His worship appears across
regions and communities. And over time he became a kind of universal first call in trade and travel. People carried his image in households. He became familiar in temples foundational. In art instantly recognizable during festivals especially Gananish chatterhei becomes a
public wave of devotion. Music processions community celebration and then immersion symbolizing return dissolution and renewal. This is another way he stays relevant. He's both personal and communal. You can whisper his name alone at your desk before you write the first sentence and you can celebrate him in the street with
thousands of people. He meets you at both scales. Let's bring this into a context that matters to us right now. Gananisha is relevant today because we are living in an age of constant beginnings. Every week there's a new platform, a new algorithm, a new crisis, a new identity, a new reinvention. People are starting over constantly.
Relationships careers healing journeys, creative projects, whole lives, and starting over isn't romantic. Starting over is terrifying. So, what does Ganisher offer in modern terms? He offers permission to begin imperfectly. He offers protection at thresholds. He offers clarity about what's truly
blocking you, especially when the block is internal. He offers the reminder that wisdom can be gentle, that power doesn't have to be cruel, that you can be sacred and still be human. And here as the part I personally love, Gananisha is one of the few figures where devotion doesn't he feel like graveling. It feels like friendship with a force that wants you
to succeed, but wants you to succeed wisely. not just get everything you want, but become someone who can hold what you asked for. That's so much deeper. strange, funny, and occasionally grim. Like somebody took a scroll into a loud inn and came out with a confession. And he warns you, I'm switching voices. Greek to Latin, high style to low style, elegant to messy. That's the trick. That's the circus writer move. The
language itself is a transformation. So if you came for polite literature, wrong temple reader, attend and find delight. He opens like an old school operator. He's basically saying, I am going to whisper into your ear and expand what you think is possible. Human forms will
shift. Fortunes will flip. Things will be lost, recovered, swapped, reversed. That's not just plot. That's a worldview. Reality is not stable in this book. It's exchangeable, mutable. The world is a mask shop. And he drops that little flex. Don't blame me if my Latin

Already the world bites. Then he goes toward the baz and sees his old friend Socrates. And Socrates is wrecked, pale, shrunken, wrapped up like a streetorn drifter. The
kind of person you see and your stomach drops because you realize life can do that to anybody. Aristo is like, "Back home. They think you're gone. Your household has been rearranged." People moved on and here you are haunting the street. And Socrates hits him with the philosophy of disaster. You don't know what fortune can do. The reversals, the
ambushes. He's ashamed. He hides his face. He even says, "Let fate enjoy showing me off." That's a dark line because it reveals the theme. Humiliation as spectacle. Fortune doesn't just break you, she displays you. Erism helps him. Baths, food, drink, conversation. He tries to restore
his friend into a whole person again. And once Socrates is warmed up, he confesses the real curse. He was attacked and robbed on the road, escaped, found in Enrun by a mature, attractive woman named Marowi. She welcomed him, fed him, and drew him into her private space. Socrates says the
moment he crossed that line, he was done not because closeness is evil, but because he entered an agreement without reading the terms. He calls it a long unhealthy entanglement. She drained him, money, wages, even the clothes he had left. It's like affection became a contract. Arism insults the woman and
Socrates panics. Quiet. Be careful. She has powers. Then Socrates lists what she can do. Pull down the sky, freeze the globe, turn springs to stone, melt mountains, summon the dead, call the gods, snuff stars, light the underworld. Urs is like, "Okay, okay, less drama,
talk plain." So, Socrates gives examples, not sparkly fantasy, but punishment magic. A cheating lover turned into an animal as a shame lesson. A rival inkeeper turned into a frog in his own vats. A lawyer turned into a sheep fleeting as livestock. A pregnant woman cursed into an endless condition
for years exaggerated. Monstrous unforgettable. Then the big flex. The town tries to punish her and she locks everyone inside their homes with a chant. Doors won't open. Walls won't yield. Reality becomes a cage. They swear to protect her and she releases them. then relocates the magistrate's
entire house locked and intact and drops it somewhere else like a message. This is not magic as fairy glitter. It's magic as social power. So Aristo says we leave before dawn. We get far away. They sleep. Aristomies bolts the door, shoves the bed against it. Around midnight, the
door bursts open. Anyway, the bed collapses. He ends up pinned under it, forced into witness mode. Two older women enter with a lamp, a sponge, and a bare blade. One is Marowi, the other is Pantheia. Maroy calls Socrates her favorite, her moon lover, her pretty
prize, and says he tried to slip away. Then she points out Aristotines and promises to punish him later for being too curious. Pantheus suggests taking him apart or marking him. Maroy says, "No, let him live so he can cover the body afterward." Then she cuts Socrates throat and carefully catches what flows,
like it's part of a right. She reaches inside and takes what she wants. The story treats it like ritual extraction. And then as a final signature of degradation, they soil aristoines to shame him, to stamp him with power. Then they leave and the door resets like nothing happened. Aristoine spirals. If
I tell the truth, nobody believes me. If I scream, I'm finished. If I run, I look guilty. He tries to end himself with a bed cord. The cord snaps. He falls onto Socrates. Then the porter arrives yelling. And Socrates wakes up alive. Whole. Socrates even complains about Aristoine's smell. Aristoine lies to
cover what happened, pays the bill, and they leave. As they walk, Arisamines tries to rationalize. It was just a nightmare. Too much drink. Socrates says he also dreamed his throat was cut. He feels weak, shaky, like his body remembers what his mind wants to deny.
They sit by a tree. They eat bread and cheese. Socrates eats fast, but his color is wrong. Like the night is still holding him. He gets thirsty. They find a stream. He kneels to drink. And right before his lips touch the water, the hidden wound opens. The sponge shoots
out. A thin trickle follows and Socrates collapses this time for real. Arism covers him quickly and runs. He ends with, "Now I live elsewhere. Married again." Like he stacked a new life on top of the old one to silence it. The skeptic companion still doesn't believe a word. But Lucius says the line that
defines him. Nothing is impossible. Fate decides what happens. And he thanks aristoines for the entertainment because even horror to Lucius is strangely delicious. That's not villain. But it is dangerous. We arrive at Hypata. Lucius asks the inkeeper about Milo, a
prominent citizen. She roasts him. He's prominent because his house sticks out beyond the city limits. Translation: His wealth is so swollen it can't fit inside community. Milo is a hoarder, a hard lender, paranoid, lives like a popper. One maid, one unhappy wife, piles of
money, but no warmth. Lucius is admitted. Milo welcomes him, offers him the wife's seat because the house has no extra chairs for fear of theft. Even hospitality is framed as risk management. Lucius goes to the market, buys fish, then meets Pytheus, an old classmate who is now the market
inspector. Pytheus plays righteous, grabs Lucius fish, and has them stomped into paste as a lesson to the merchant. Lucius loses his money and his meal. Justice becomes performance. Authority becomes humiliation. He returns to Milo's house, tries to sleep, but Milo drags him into a banquet that's just
endless talking. Lucius dines on conversation and crawls to bed hungry. And that's where Bookai leaves you. In a city of spells, misers, officials, and spectacle with a narrator whose greatest power and weakness is that he can't he stop leaning toward the strange. So here's what Bookie is really doing under
the story. This is an initiation gate. Apilus promises transformations, then immediately trains your mind for them. Certainty becomes doubt. Safety becomes exposure and reality becomes slippery. This chapter loosens the bolts. Curiosity is the spell that summons consequences. Lucius inserts himself
into the tail, rewards it, argues for the impossible. He treats danger as delicious. That's the setup. When you treat the forbiddance like entertainment, you eventually become part of it. The witches represent power without accountability. Maro isn't sparkle magic. She rewrites social
order, humiliates enemies, controls crowds, relocates structures. The book asks, "What happens when desire and domination share the same hand? Everybody here hunts in a different costume. Robbers strip you. Spell workers drain you. Officials moralize and destroy your dinner. Milo hoards and starves the house. Even the porter
accuses. The world is a trap with many mouths. The sponge moment is the thesis. Denial doesn't cancel reality. Aristose calls it a nightmare. Socrates tries to laugh it off, but the body remembers. The seal breaks at the water. At the mirror of truth, you can rationalize until the hidden wound opens again.

think once, but I think also there was one very other brief occasion on public panels. Um he appears to be in his 20s. He does appear to deal with certain issues and um I don't I don't know really anything about him, but I am going to

of certain mistakes Groovy Jimmy may have made, regardless of certain issues he may have, he does not deserve to be the target of racists who think that they can get away with knocking him around and threatening him and threatening to physically assault him
and sexually assault him. That is not okay. Like I said, I'm already in contact with law enforcement in both Texas and California in regards to this. Law enforcement officers are going to know all your names. Psyche aka Bates, Jay Dog, and Black RG. And Bates, your family's getting ready to know. So, you
might as well go ahead and pack your suitcases now because I have a feeling that they ain't going to be funding your little carnival act anymore. or you're going to have to move. Psyche's targets, a woman known as Beta, who I definitely do not want communication with, who I am not friends with, but she's been suffering at the hands of Bates, too. But do not make the mistake of not thinking that Bates is the ring leader behind this. He's been behind a lot of racist

Let's talk about a story that feels like fate keeps reloading the same level. A king Vicramadicha is sleep. He has to fetch a sprite, a vitala from a tree. And every time he does, the sprite tells him a story and poses a riddle. If the
king answers, the sprite escapes and flies back to the tree. If he stays silent, the sprite's curse will break his head into a thousand pieces. It's a lose-lose game. But the king is a king, and duty doesn't care if you're tired.
So, the king goes back again. He finds the sprite hanging there like a bad idea you just can't shake. He cuts him down, binds him, throws him over his shoulder, and starts the long march back. And the sprite with a smile that looks like a curse with a mouth says, "Oh king,
listen." And so begins our story within a story. There was a city called Boguati ruled by a king named Rupson. He had the crown, the court, and a special parrot named Cherman who talked like he had receipts on everybody. One day, the king asks his parrot, "What
do you know?" The parrot without missing a beat says everything. Kings love hearing that. It's like catnip for authority. So Rupson asks, "Then tell me, where can I find a bride who is worthy of my rank?" Kermit puffs out his chest and says, "In the kingdom of Mod There's a king named Magad
Heshore. His daughter is Princess Shandravati. She's beautiful. She's brilliant. and you're going to marry her. Now, Ruben wasn't the type to just trust a bird, even a clairvoyant one. He needed to doublech checkck with the universe. He summoned his chief astrologer, a guy
named Shandraen, who looked at the stars, did all the sacred math, and basically came back with, yep, the cosmos cosigned to match. So, King Rubson sends a Brahman envoy off to Mod with a caravan of gifts and a lot of flattering words. The mission was clear.
Secure this marriage and I'll secure your fortune. Meanwhile, because the universe loves symmetry, Princess Shandravati had her own talking bird, a Mina named Madden Manari. And wouldn't you know it, the princess asks Hermina the exact same question. Where in this
big wide world can I find a husband worthy of me? And Madden Manari replies, Rupson of Baguati, that's your guy. So now we have both royals completely in love without ever having met. It's like destiny started a group chat and forgot to add the actual humans.
Envoys went back and forth. Gifts were exchanged, blessings were arranged, and every single tradition was followed to lock this deal into place. Soon enough, the wedding happened. King Ruben received his bride. The kingdom celebrated and they returned home with great joy. Of course, Shandravati
brought her clever Mina, Madan Majari, with her cage and all. And here's where things get complicated. One day, the king and queen are looking at their two clever birds. Chairman the parrot and Madden Manari the minus sitting in separate cages near the
throne. The royal couple thinks nobody thrives alone. Let's pair them up. They should have companionship, too. So, they get a big, beautiful cage and place both birds inside together. At first, it's cute. A little domestic
fairy tale happening inside the palace. But then the parrot chairman starts talking like he swallowed a tavern philosopher. He begins preaching that the best life is a life of indulgence and conquest. He argues that pleasure is the only real meaning in life and everyone else is just a supporting character in your
personal story of getting what you want. The Mina Madden Manari listens. her voice as cold as a bell and replies, "I want no partner like that." The parrot scoffs, "Why not?" And the Mina says, "Because I've seen what deception looks like when it wears charm." St. Parrot
snaps back with his own bitter list of complaints about her kind. And just like that, the cage becomes a courtroom. The king hears them arguing and asks, "What's all this about? Why are you two fighting?" Madden Manari bows her little head and says, "Great King, allow me to tell you a tale. Then you
will understand why I refuse this kind of love. And this is the Mina's tale." In a city called Ilapore, there lived a wealthy merchant named Mahadan. He desperately longed for a child. He did everything. Pilgrimages, fasting, offerings, begging the heavens for an
heir. Finally, his prayers were answered, and he had a son. But the boy grew into a man with a hollow hunger, a gambler who saw his inheritance not as a legacy, but as fuel for the fire. When his father died, he burned through the entire family fortune like it was cursed paper.
Once the money was gone, he fled to a new city, Shandraor. There he found another rich merchant, Hem Gupt, and claimed to be a distant relative. He spun a tragic story of a shipwreck, of losing everything, of shame and despair. Hemupted believed
him. Or maybe Hemgupted just wanted to believe him. People do that especially when a lie is dressed up to look like fate. So Hemupt married his daughter Rat Navati to this charming survivor and provided a heavy dowy.
They lived together for some time. Then one day the young man told Rott Navati, "I must return to my homeland. I need closure. Come with me." Her parents agreed and even gave them more wealth for the journey. Generosity is a virtue, right? Till it becomes a weapon someone
uses against you. Steep in a lonely stretch of road, the husband convinced Rat Navati to give him all her valuables for safekeeping. And then he revealed what he really was. Not a husband, but a thief in ceremonial clothing. A tea abandoned her right there and vanished
with everything. Rat Navati survived. She was found and eventually returned home. But here's the brutal part. Nobody wanted to hear the truth. It was too ugly. They preferred the comfort of a story they could control. So they told themselves, "Robbers must have attacked
them. He must still be alive. He'll return someday." And because liars are predictable, he did return. broke, desperate, and with a brand new story about how he was the victim of bad luck. And Retavati, still craving the shape of marriage more than she craved justice,
helped him keep the lie intact. He was welcomed back into the family like a longlost son. He lived the easy life again for a little while. And then one night when the house was asleep and trust was completely defenseless, he stole everything all over again. This
time leaving total devastation behind. Mand fled for good. The Mina ended her story with this. I witnessed it all. That is why I refuse a partner who worships his own appetite and dares to call it love. The king, deeply disturbed, turned to the parrot. And you
tell me the faults you claim to see as the parrot launched into his own tail. Also about betrayal, also about lies. Because that's the theme of this whole nightmare. Two birds arguing like prophets. Both describing the different masks worn by the same relentless hunger.
The parrot told of a woman who chased secret thrills of a chain of deception that spun wildly out of control. His story was about blame being thrown like knives at an innocent man and how a common thief, ironically, was the only one who finally spoke the truth and stopped an unjust punishment
from happening. When the parrot finished, he concluded, "You see, great king, people who live by deception can ruin lives and still have the nerve to call themselves the ones who were wronged." And then the sprite, still bound to the king's back, still impossibly amused by all this, posed the real question.
Oh king, between these two stories, where does the greater guilt lie? With the man in the first story or the woman in the second? King Vicramodiche answered quickly, almost automatically, "With the woman?" The sprite pressed him "Why?" And the king gave a tired old answer
about nature and the inherent differences between right and wrong for men and women. It was the kind of answer you'd expect from a king of his time. But let's be real here. We're looking at this with modern eyes. We can't let that antique bias have the last word. The greater guilt belongs to whoever knowingly engineers a lie, harms an
innocent person, and then hides behind a performance of victimhood. In both these tales, the core sin isn't about being a man or a woman. It's about betrayal with intent. It's about using trust as a tool and calling the wreckage fate. That's the poison. That's the real crime.
And that's why the sprite smiled. In that instant, his bonds magically fell away. He slipped free from the king's shoulder and flew straight back to the tree. Kay hanging himself upside down again as if the universe had just reset the trap and the king jaw clenched turned around and went back once

Herods agreed, not realizing he had just invited a storm. Then he declared, I will give you to one who knows all science. Soon after, King Mobble summoned Herods, "Go to the southern king, Herac, inquire after his health, and bring me news." Herods obeyed. He traveled, delivered the message, and lingered near the southern throne, as
courtiers often do. One day, King Heracand posed a question, the kind kings ask when they're pretending it's philosophy and not paranoia. Herods, has the iron age begun? Herod's folded
his hands. Your m we are already inside it. Then he spoke like man reading the world's autopsy report. >> Falsehood thrives while truth thins. People smile to your face and sharpen knives behind their backs. Virtue has gone quiet. Vice has learned to sing. The earth yields less, but greed
harvests more. Kings take by force and call it law. Priests bargain like merchants. Modesty is treated as a relic. Sons disobey fathers. Brothers don't trust brothers. And friends are no longer friends. Everywhere you look, something sacred is being traded for something cheap. The king heard this,
fell silent, and retreated to his private chambers, as kings do when truth gets too close to the ribs. As Herods left the court, Abhman's son approached him. "I've come to ask something of you, Herods, still tasting the bitterness of the Iron Age, replied, "Speak," the young man said. "Give me your daughter in marriage." Herods repeated the oath.
He desworn to Mobdec. "I will give her only to one in whom all accomplishments exist." The suitor lifted his chin. I know all the sciences. Herods didn't just take his word for it. He challenged him. Show me. Let your knowledge step out of your mouth and into the world. The Brahman's son smiled. I have built a car so wondrous it can carry you in a
moment to any place you wish. Bring it in the morning. Herods commanded. Morning came and so did the car. Herods mounted it with the suitor and they shot through the distance like a thought through a dream. Arriving back in Eugene in an instant, but fate was already >> I didn't even know that. there. >> While Herods was away, another Brahman son had approached his eldest son. Give
me your sister and marriage. The son, bound by his father's vow, replied only to one learned in all sciences. The second suitor declared, I know all knowledge and science. Impressed by his confidence, the son agreed. But the web grew more tangled. A third Braymond's son had gone straight to Mob Devc's mother. Give me your daughter. The
mother repeated the same iron condition. This third suitor claimed, "I know the science of the shastras, and I can shoot an arrow that strikes what is only heard, not seen." It was an astonishing claim. And the mother, convinced, also gave her consent. So now the house held a terrible curse. One girl, three suitors, three perfect
answers. Herods looked at the impossible not before him, his mind tightening. To whom do I give her, and to whom do I deny her? Then the knight decided to make the choice even uglier. A demon drawn by the excess of it all swooped down and carried Mob Devc away to the summit of a mountain. The story itself seemed to hiss a warning. Too much of
anything turns wholly into hazard. said Ta was too beautiful and Raven carried her away. King Bali gave too much and became poor. Ravens pride grew too large and his whole house burned for it. Morning arrived and Mob Devc was gone. The household spiraled into panic. The three suitors arrived like arguments with legs. Herods grabbed the one who
claimed all knowledge and demanded, "Tell me, where is my daughter?" The wise man closed his eyes, waved the air, and said, "A demon has taken her. She is on a mountain. The second suitor, the warrior, stepped forward fiercely. Then I will go kill the demon and bring her back. And the third suitor, owner of the
wondrous car, stepped forward smoothly. Mount my car. I will carry you there in an instant. Desperate fathers do what they must. Herods used every tool offered. They all mounted the car and reached the mountain in a flash. The fighter went forward, faced the demon, and struck him down. Mobdev was
recovered and modeling and glaring at destiny as if she wanted to sue it. Then the three suitors began to quarrel, each claiming the bride as if she were a prize, not a person. Herods stood between them, thinking, "All three have helped me. All three have placed me in their debt. If I give her to one, I insult the others. If I give her to
none, I break my vow." And then the sprite leaned in. its eyes bright with the cruel delight that riddles have. Now, King Vikram, tell me, whose wife did the maiden become? Vicram answered without hesitation. She became the wife of the one who slew the demon and brought her back. The sprite pressed, but the good qualities of all were
equal. How did she become his wife? Vikram replied, "The other two provided help that can be repaid. One gave counsel, the other a vehicle. But the warrior paid with risk. He fought. He faced the demon and ended the threat. He didn't just assist, he protected. Therefore, she became his wife. At that,
the sprite laughed. A sound like a lock clicking shut. It slipped from the king's shoulder and flew back to the same tree, hanging there as before. And the king, as before, rose at once, went to bind him, lifted him onto his shoulder, and carried him off into the night, chasing the next riddle like a man chasing the very edge of fate. Thank
