The episode consists entirely of a performed song/poem from the perspective of a livestream troll. The narrator describes feeling locked out and having their 'soul spanned' ▶ 0:04, realizing they cannot win against the chat ▶ 0:14. They recount trying to flood the chat and deceive mods ▶ 0:27 but asserting 'I am still meaning' ▶ 0:34. The chorus introduces the central metaphor: taking a 'taxi to the troll side of the live stream' ▶ 0:41, away from the mod team, where the admin meets them 'on the corner with emojis' ▶ 0:54. The second verse details the dynamic with moderation: being called hysterical, promised a mod role but given less, wanted for 'cloud' and 'mess' ▶ 1:36. The song repeats the chorus with variations, ending on the line 'didn't you know that he was lonely?' ▶ 2:42 before fading out ▶ 2:58.
This piece appears to function as a mythic origin story for the show's relationship with its own chat culture — framing the troll not as antagonist but as a misunderstood figure seeking meaning through chaos. The taxi metaphor suggests a deliberate crossing between mediated and unmediated spaces. The admin's loneliness and the narrator's persistence ('I am still meaning') suggests the show views moderation and disruption as symbiotic rather than oppositional. This continues the pattern of the archive treating chat dynamics as worthy of serious artistic exploration.
