Beeta's Bush

Summary

A hedge located past a driveway gate that originated as a 4-foot shrub but has grown into an enormous, self-sustaining maze ecosystem. Those who enter become disoriented and traumatized. The hedge has developed its own internal ecosystem with animal inhabitants, physical structures (patio sets, lost objects), and a governance system presided over by a squirrel who collects rent. The gardeners who initially attempted to trim it remain trapped within, their leaf blowers perpetually running.
