>> In the city where the mirrors breathe, every door reflects, every face believes. The suns burn bright from a thousand towers, but I have never felt their power. Light without warmth, shine without shadow, a glittering road that goes nowhere. Hollow, they said, "You won't need fire here. The streets blaze bright as the face you fear to
see." They said, "Put down your little lantern. What good is fire meaning in a city made of gleaming?" So, I walked inside when my lantern darkened and lay watching the pilgrims praise their own perfect image of it. >>
>> At the center of the city of light, stood the temple where they go at night to ask the great mirror, "Who am I?" And the mirror always answers. It never lies. It tells you, "Magnificent." It tells you, "Chosen." It tells you the story you always hoped
was spoken. And the pilgrims wept. Oh, the pilgrims wept with relief so sweet it felt like love. And they left devoted to the image kept. And they called it knowing yourself. I stood before the mirror alone. It offered me a crown, a name, a throne, a story finished,
sealed, and signed. The self I'd always wanted to find.
>>
>> But I raised the lantern. I struck the spark. One small, honest fire in the palace of the dark. The flame was almost rude against the temple's endless glow. Not beautiful, not polished, just burning, just so.
>> >> And the mirror trembled at something it could not reflect. A presence without performance. A face without a verdict. The crack came like ice breaking on a still lake at dawn. Not a shattering awakening. Something frozen moving on.
A thousand suns dimmed. Shadows fell across the stone. And the people of the city saw the edges of their own. They panicked. Oh, they panicked at the dark that lined their lives until the dark became the answer to a
question they denied. You only cast a shadow if something real stands in the light. You only have a darkness if you actually exist tonight. The traveler walked on, lantern warm and small, not asking for permission, not
answering the call of every gleaming surface that promised them a name. You don't need the mirror's verdict. You only need the flame. Carry a small fire long enough to see not the face you wanted, but the one that's free. Carry a small fire through the cities of the bright. Let the mirrors crack behind
you. You were never just their light. Go on. Go on, lantern. Lit and walking. No longer asking mirrors who you are. Go on. Go on, small flame. Honest burning. Lighting yourself without permission. Without applause.
Feel it.

>> Uh it works. I'm just trying it out. This testing. If you like me, can you leave a comment or something? Why everyone's afraid of me now? Like What I do? Is something that bad? Come on. I'm not alcohol. I'm not a coffee. I'm going to go walk for a coffee then.
I'm just going to walk for a coffee. Yeah, the refill.
Um. Um. I don't know. Yeah, it's only like me anymore.
Then my Danny from Danny's song.
>>
>> Danny Stranger walking in like a county fair star. >> >> Looking so cute, got that kid rock guitar bar. I'm acting normal, yeah, sure, okay. But my brain's yelling open a major way. He did one little
dance and my soul said, "Fine, I'm losing my dignity." Won't be that a time. I don't hit him up much. I keep it tight cuz he's got that charm that can wreck my night. One smile on him and I'm already sure he'll talk me into something expensive. Look. >> >> Danny Stranger, you're trouble, you're
cute attack. I want to buy your underwear and your socks in a pack. You danced for me once, now I'm down bad facts, but I'm keeping it casual while I'm losing my tracks. And though he ain't gay, so don't make it weird. I'm just out here spiraling crystal clear. I don't talk to him much cuz I know what he'll do. He'll
talk me into buying him a whole dang truck. And I don't even have a bike, dude. >> >> He got that I might be a problem grin like he's selling sunshine with a side of sin. He laughs, I fold, my
wallet gets scared. I'm trying to play cool, but I'm deeply unprepared. I'm not saying I'm obsessed. Just smile and the rain's like, "Who needs self-respect when the vibes is strange?" I keep my distance. I do my best, but it pops in my head like a bad text. He says we should hang. I'm like, "Maybe soon."
Then I hide in my house like a raccoon. Danny Stranger, you're trouble, you're cute attack. I want and your socks in a pack. You danced for me once, now I'm down bad facts, but I'm keeping it casual while I'm losing my tracks. And though he ain't gay, so don't make it
weird. I'm just out here spiraling crystal clear. I don't talk to him much cuz I know what he'll do. He'll talk me into buying him a whole dang truck. And I don't even have a bike, dude. I'm a responsible adult, allegedly. But that man says, "Babe."
And my brain goes, "Spend money." I'm not his bank. I'm not his plan. I'm just a humble fan with a morally questionable stance. If he blinks twice, I'm making poor choices. Hearing cash registers like background voices. Danny Stranger, you're trouble, you're
cute attack. I want to buy your underwear and your socks in a pack. Why am I like this? You danced for me once, now I'm down bad facts, but I'm keeping it casual while I'm losing my tracks. And though he ain't gay, so don't make it weird. I'm just out here spiraling crystal clear. I don't talk to him that much cuz I know what he'll do. He'll
talk me into buying him a whole dang truck. And I don't even have a bike, dude. >> >> Danny Stranger. >> >> Please stop being adorable. >> >> My finances can't take it. >>

It's like a really cool like globe with an arrow kind of through it, and I like that cuz it's kind of like Cupid has the arrow that goes through like the heart. And the world is kind of
like the heart, and I I get I get really deep into it, but here it is.
You see it? Hold on. See it? Oh, there it is. I'm sorry. It's the monument right there. 9/11 has a pentagon on it. He's going to run through the door. I think everything will go back to normal.

Maybe I'll be doing Discord nights with Bitty Davis movies. Maybe I'll be on other chats that are nice to me and stuff and not just like call me a loser and, you know, that I should like, you know, jump off bridges and stuff, but it's okay. I got it on Teemu. Probably about $9.99. That was a fun month. I had money for Teemu. Oh. I had a wig. I had a priest costume. I put combined the priest costume with the wig. I was in a whole new kind of character. Then unfortunately I dropped the the
wig in the cat food and then I put it in the in the washer and dryer and it came out into dreadlocks. And I didn't care too much for that look. It was more like these big I don't know. It just didn't look good. Just didn't look good. Didn't look right. anymore. I liked them when I was like nice and like a Barbie.
Oh my god. I'll be right back, guys.
your other shift duties. We'll begin with your second shift duty, greeting and serving guests. Good evening. Find enough meat today? >> Boy, I'll say. Well, that's great. Would you care for salmon or beef? A little both, I think. All right. Making friendly conversations like this is a big part of greeting and serving guests.
At other buffet-style restaurants, guests often feel they're on their own. Once they've paid for the meal, no one pays much attention to them. At Old Country Buffet, we work hard to make sure our guests never feel that way. As a carver, you spend a little more time with guests than team members.
That means you have a great chance to make them feel welcome and appreciated. By greeting the guest warmly and holding brief conversations as you serve them, you say to our guests, "We're glad you're here." Let's take a closer look at greeting guests. Every conversation you hold with a guest should begin something like this. Good evening.
Or, Hi, how are you? Once you've greeted the guest, start a brief conversation. Try asking a question the guest can answer in a sentence or two. You might ask something like this. Is it still hot out there? Or this. Did you catch the game last night? Or this. Have you tried the lasagna? It's my favorite.
Don't forget to hold quick conversations with our younger guests, too. Children often play a big part in deciding which restaurant their parents visit. We want them to feel welcome and special here, too. So, start conversations with children by saying something like this. What grade are you in at school? Or this. Have you decided what dessert you're going to
have? Or this. Do you like hot fudge sundaes? Once you've held a brief conversation, it's time to move on to the second half of this shift duty, serving the guests. Begin by asking, "Would you care for some ham or beef?" >> Ham, please. Once guests have chosen what meat they want, you'll carve a slice of it. Exactly what size of slice you will
serve will be a judgment call on your part unless the guest makes a special request. We don't limit the meat a guest can have. We do, however, manage it to reduce waste. Here are some guidelines for knowing how much meat to serve a guest. When your guest's plate has very little on it, carve a full cut. Lay it over the bare portion of the
plate. Children usually prefer smaller portions. Carve them a smaller cut. Place it on an open section of the plate. If your guest's plate looks like this, quarter cut or a half cut of the meat the guest requests. Sometimes Hold on, guys. Stop Stop the
polls. Stop it. What is this? The poll is over. No No new votes. No, I don't like you, four people. Yes, you're okay, one person. That's really all you could do for me? Guys, we're watching the cult training video but
I had to stop at one person likes me? Who was that? Gaudy, that was you? Thank you. You said I think you said you liked me. We're watching the training video. I can't afford to make my own right now, so we're watching Old Country Buffet's training video, but it's the same concept, okay? It's the same general rules.
size of cut or number of pieces >> how cult works. Other guests will ask you to carve a slice thicker than our usual dime width. These guests all feel they're getting more when getting a thicker cut. More, please. More. More, please. The thin slice gives them a tender piece of meat. Remember that movie? That lady was in that movie Total Recall. She had three breasts. Remember that lady? >> If a guest asks you, "I'd like a
half-inch slice of that roast beef, please." Say something like this. "I'd be glad to carve you that. Thinner slices are more tender, though. Would that be all right?" Yeah, I'm going to I'm going to carve you a dime size. You're asking for like a cult. If the guest insists on a 1-in thick honor the request. An inch thick? No matter what the top meat wants to give you a little sliver for what size slice you serve.

Asking, "How's that?" makes sure guests are happy with the slice they Guys, watch this, guys. If you want a mod, yeah. want a slice of a different meat, you can correct the situation promptly. Wow, I don't know if I'm comfortable with you talking about Guests will sometimes ask you questions about the
food we serve and how we prepare it. Look at how like it's all lit up. I love that. I love how it's all lit up. Make the most of opportunities to learn about our menu items. If you are asked a question you can't answer, find someone who can answer >> End of that one. The nearest manager is usually a good place to start. End of that one. Your third shift duty is maintaining the
carving station. As you carve and serve meats, your station quickly loses the cleanliness and appeal it had when >> That guy, pay attention to this part cuz I like my counters spotless. >> cleaning and maintenance tasks to return your station to its >> Guys, when you're cleaning our mansion, I'm going to get a I'm going to get a >> you will complete. full mansion. five first. There's no there's no shelter in Redondo Beach. I'll just tell you this, okay? There's like the Lawndale there's like other cities have shelters. They're and they have kill shelters. There's no shelter here. All there is is like people that take in cats and stuff like that. You know, either like, you know, there's something terrible happens or something good happens where they find a like a family that they love and it's like
Trixie >> Yo, you know what? You know oh my god. Yo, everybody feels sorry for Trixie. I say I know he's Sam man is too broke to send even $5. >> Wow, you don't care about Trixie? Are you going to send me >> Animal Animal Services. Hold on. Okay, so that's the animal control Redondo. Yeah, that's right down the street. I'm going to visit them tomorrow and talk to the people Yeah, uh-huh.

That's all they >> Come on, Psych. Come on, give me another thing. >> They don't they don't they don't they don't they don't out go out with like little little um nets on nets on on a pole and go try to get the cats and stuff.
>> Psych, you know you know Lady Bathory ain't going to lie, man. Well, I know, okay. But maybe there's a volunteer run shelter from somebody's house in Redondo or maybe she just said if there's the animal control address, that's also a different thing. That's not an animal shelter. That's not the they don't take in animals. They like will like >> Damn, yo, you know you know you know there's reasons you can't keep outside
cats right? Well, there's reasons that are risky. Hey, Sam man, I'm going to let you go backstage and >> Woah, what happened? Send me five bucks and then you can come back on. Cuz he promised to, but if he's not a man of his word He's not a man of his word. I'm going to check the Venmo, though.
Just just to verify.
Okay. Well, nothing's in the Venmo, but he did say give him five minutes and stuff. I have faith in Gotti. I'll show you guys for right now the Venmo is at zero. It's a very sad state of affairs. My cash app, I'll check that out. Let's see if there's any is PsychiAwakens at Venmo or cash app if

eight cents. You look. Zero. I have eight cents. It's just savings. Drop the Venmo so they can send it. Absolutely. Actually, I can put it on my screen. Here.
All right, this one right here. Here. Right there. I'll take that one off. There it is. Either cash app or Venmo. Few bucks, I'll go I'll order a bit of food. I'll be in a better mood.

Camera's all messing up. I don't know.
Yeah, I look terrible, don't I? I do look terrible, but you know, I'm a shapeshifter. I can go from terrible to gorgeous in like, you know, basically 10 minutes. That's always a talent. My dad would be like, "Oh my god, we have five minutes to go to the movie theater. Make yourself look presentable." He basically take me kick me out of bed when I was like, you know, And then I would like in five minutes I
could go take a shower, be dressed, be in the car by the end of five minutes. And looking like a different person. Which I can do tonight for you guys, too. I can take jump in the bath for like 5 minutes, basically. I mean, but the thing is the whole my whole like the whole thing is like I have a curse on me
that slowly my nails will start to get dirty and then the thing wears off. That once I come out and my nails are clean, I'm not going to try to dig that much through the ashes tonight. I just have like like cigar ashes all over the table and stuff. It's too late for me to get more cigars tonight.
Cheers. Let me see. Is there any activity? Nope. Sam man it says what where did he go? My uh Let me see the Venmo. Okay.
It's on the screen. Yeah, he didn't send it. Let me check that my Venmo to see if that happened. And no. 0 0. I got a I got a big goose egg tonight, guys. I just got a goose egg. 0 and 0.

you know, a token and it's like 0.0 like it was like really nobody nobody helped me. Like It's okay though. It's okay. Think I'm going to like spend it on like drugs or something. I don't have any
like drug habit except for like weed. I'm just going to disappear for a second.
Okay, I'm just uh I'm just going to you know wrap it up after this, but I do appreciate everybody. If you're a sale for I'm going to play a song. It's called the present, but it just means like you know, I don't really even I appreciate everybody that that helps and stuff like that. I don't I don't really expect it. And it humbles me.
And I'm thankful when I when I do get help and stuff. But no worries and I'm going to be here. I'll I'll come back after the song and stuff. But this is for the late late Isaac Kappy. This is the song actually. I just put it I just put it to like a nice video. Best I could do, okay? It's called the present. And it's like the best line is like life is a gift. That's why we call it the present, you know?
>>
>> I could play that, but it's like that'd be a little bit too powerful right now. But I do have another like another song. Oh, not that one. Here we go. We have another one. Kind of describes me perfectly.

>> I'm alone. I'm alone now. Fantasies place my skull like accolades in the corridor. I keep seeing you as the perfect kind. Not because you were real, but because my hunger can paint halos on emptiness. >> I >> almost had you or I almost had the idea of you, but it
wasn't time. So I swallow the lessons we never got to learn and I practice not thinking about how easily I would have loved you if the universe had opened a door an inch wider. I miss you. >> >> And I never met you. I miss you.
And I never met you. I'm a loner. I'm alone now. >> >> And it's okay to cry. I'm a loner. I'm alone now. I'm a loner. I'm alone now. They said I was selfish,
but all I did was carry you like a secret scripture. Tell me how they're selfish when I was bleeding in the loss. Sometimes I interrogate myself. Sometimes the blood in my head turns into sermons. If I'm such a creator, why can't I make you? Why can't I conjure you out of breath and need and sheer refusal?
I miss you. And I never met you. I miss you. And I never met you. I'm a loner. I'm alone now. >> >> And it's okay to cry. >> >> I'm a loner. I'm alone now. >>
>> I'm a loner. I'm alone now.
I'll hold your hand in mine in the place where my prayers go when they don't get answered. I'll sing you to sleep every night in the temple of the old stones till then I know
>> >> that it's okay to cry. Cry. >> >> Cry. I'm a loner.
>> Cry. >> I'm a loner. >> Cry. >> I'm a loner. I'm alone now. Okay, I want to give a brief like over
I'll do a brief overview of the codex because some of it's not very clear and I would just want to show you how you can look at some of these features before some of them will go probably behind a paywall cuz it is kind of really been a kind of expensive to like build this whole site myself and okay, so I have a lot of
stuff on um where you can view it now, okay? Hold on, I'm going to show you the screen. Okay, it didn't help much if I'm not showing the screen. What's up, guys? We're back again. Yeah, I was just playing a short thing here. I'll share the screen. I'll show you I'll show you how some of it works like it's not perfect yet. It has a lot more to go to it, but I think I'm on my way.
I kept to keep up updating it and stuff and like doing constant like you know, putting the like if you go to start here, actually it shows you some really cool stuff. You go into like the like a little scroll down a little bit, it goes into like about the archive, contact, methodology. Goes to the lexicon. You go to lexicon. This is these are all these are new. These are all the terms that are like
used on my show like we've learned about angel shot like you know, signals to the staff you need help. DJ Electric told us about that one. But it's like I'm and I can add I would this can be like you know, you can like send ideas for words that aren't here that are like you know, like cult or stuff like that and I can add them to here but this they have roasted. They have a roast. Aggressively
making fun of someone, you know, we have rogue mod is on there. Salty simp, sock puppet, spread, stormborn, super chats, tea, third eye, thirsty, troll, trollpedia, white knight, azidi. You have the azidi, you know, we have like the browse by category. Yeah, so there's all kinds of stuff. Are you seeing that you're seeing this page? Yeah.
It's pretty cool. It's pretty cool. I don't know if you see anything that's cool yet, but let me see. If you go to episodes and you could you click on an episode, it might it will and you're like where's the transcript cuz it will say maybe like transcript no Well, this one says no transcript. Okay, so I need to have that transcript like generated and stuff still and then that is kind of expensive, but let me see what I have here. I have this one get here right meow, okay? And there it says trans
transcript no transcript. Okay, so there's no transcript there for some of them. Let me see if I can like find a recent one with a transcript. I don't know cuz I do have like 1,327 episodes up here. So I think there's a transcript somewhere or another. I have one here. No transcript, okay. I need to do some work on this, okay? There's like I can like get these
transcripts. And I even if I don't I can have it I can just I have my ways of getting these transcripts, okay? I see that I have no transcript okay. That was a good one. Let me see. Free system I have a transcript. Okay, so no no, I actually it actually says right here no transcript. So like I can go scroll down until I find one that says transcript. I don't know why there's none on it. I have to have like these transcripts made
again. No transcript, no transcript, no transcript. No transcript. Like there I can't believe that I there's not this many without transcripts. I don't know why. I thought I had a lot more. Full transcript. Okay, there's a full transcript on this one on this one. But see you go but if you see it says transcript and then it doesn't click on it, but if you click right here, it
should say transcript and then it should there's a transcript right there. Okay? So there it is. Like you know, and you can search the transcript for like terms and stuff. So just you got you have to find the ones I'm going to have it so it's easier to find, but there it is. This is the whole transcript for this show like for example, okay? Like I just wanted to show you that it is like available right now.
And I'm considering someday putting it behind a paywall, but anyway, those are the transcript stuff because I like that's like really rich data. It's also been super expensive for me to like to have some of these like um transcribed via audio and stuff through Babel audio. I had like a huge amount transcribed. I do it for free I do it through Well, not for free, but I I do it for like almost pennies.
And this is Miss Lola on my lap. This is Trixie's mom. She's a really sweetheart cat. She's sitting with me right now. Yeah, she worries. She's worried most of all. I go out with her looking, right? You meow and you help me? And you you're looking for him, too? I know she goes looks for him and stuff, too. You know, she's a sweetheart cat.
He was he was chasing Wasn't he just chasing you around the other day and he drives you a little crazy and stuff, but you brought in that mouse and he like everyone was looking at the mouse and then maybe he was like saying he wants to catch a mouse, too and stuff. I don't know. I don't know what happened. Lola, we just hope he comes back, right? We're you know, Rudy's just been sitting Look at how Rudy sits. He sits just over like
looking over the the banister waiting for him to come back. You think my heart doesn't like like melt and stuff? I should say that I should say it five hundred more times. I might I might Canada cry. I just might. Show me the transcript. You know, people say show me the money, I say show me the transcripts.
Okay? Nobody donated. Nobody don't Nobody wanted the $3 token even, so it's okay. Okay, guys. You know what? The human body is amazingly resilient without food. I did have a the coffee and stuff and so I was fine. But now I'm kind of sad. I'm going to probably just like lay down and like
go to sleep. But thanks for being here. It was fun. Um hope you had a good time. I love you. Sorry didn't quite work out. Love you. Talk to you soon.
