Frank opened the episode ▶ 0:00 announcing his ancestor Joseph Grimaldi as 'the first clown' and the inventor of clowning itself. He elaborated [0:25–0:34] that Grimaldi is his actual ancestor and noted the Grimaldi family now owns Monaco, with Grace Kelly having married into the family. Frank prepared to share an image [0:37–0:40] of his ancestor and 'his invention the clown.' During this segment, Psyche interjected [0:07–0:19], expressing frustration with panel member Alex's presence, stating 'I can't join a panel with Alex up there' because 'they know we're going to around.' At [1:00–1:03], a chat participant (identified as Auster or Shasta) made an unwanted comment, prompting Psyche to remove them, saying 'you're just lame and you're out of the chat forever.'
The episode appears to explore lineage and ancestral claims as a form of cultural and personal identity assertion. Frank's presentation of Grimaldi ancestry suggests an interest in tracing oneself back to historical figures of cultural significance — in this case, the inventor of an entire performance tradition. The dynamic with Alex and the chat disruption suggests Psyche continues to manage interpersonal friction within the panel structure, setting boundaries around who can participate productively. This tension indicates an ongoing theme of the show: navigating between open community participation and maintaining a functional discussion space.
