The episode presents a detailed breakdown of a livestream from a channel called IRL News Time, where the host launches an escalating attack on rival creator Psyche [0:20–0:25]. The attack begins with mundane accusations—claiming Psyche is faking his sexuality for attention and living off wealthy family money—before rapidly escalating to charges of stalking women, extreme substance abuse, and practicing demonic witchcraft [0:25–0:58]. The most extreme claim emerges: that Psyche is ritualistically sacrificing missing pet cats [0:58–1:03]. The host employs character assassination techniques, using clinical dehumanizing language to frame Psyche as a sociopath and narcissist [1:16–1:31]. She anchors these subjective attacks to a verified 2014 Los Angeles Times article about Psyche's past drug addiction struggles, creating an illusion of journalistic credibility before filling gaps with unverified rumors [1:40–2:00]. A pivotal shift occurs when the host pivots to dense historical material about Egyptian goddess Bastet and ancient cat burials, screen-sharing archaeological articles to establish academic authority [2:25–2:39]. She then bridges ancient Egyptian ritual sacrifice theories to demonology texts, constructing a fabricated theological framework [3:09–3:19]. The narrative snaps back to the immediate present as she presents circumstantial evidence: missing cats from Psyche's broadcasts, which she concludes he is murdering and burying in his backyard to harvest demonic energy [3:34–3:56]. Finally, the host publicly threatens to submit her manufactured claims to the Redondo Beach Police Department and actively encourages her audience to harass her target [4:29–4:47].
This episode appears to function as a meta-commentary on the mechanics of digital defamation and ideological mob formation. The host's escalation pattern—from personal criticism to character assassination to supernatural accusation—suggests a deliberate methodology rather than organic outrage, revealing how modern slander weaponizes credibility signals (historical facts, academic framing, clinical language) to bypass audience skepticism. The layering of ancient Egyptian history and demonology seems designed to overwhelm critical thinking rather than educate, illustrating how esoteric and occult frameworks can be hijacked as rhetorical tools for harassment. The episode continues what appears to be an ongoing pattern within the show: examining how occult and mystical language intersects with real-world harm, particularly how supernatural frameworks become convenient scaffolding for social violence. The focus on Psyche as a target suggests the show is documenting attacks on its own community or creator, framing this as both a case study in manipulation and an implicit statement about the dangers faced by content creators operating in alternative spiritual/consciousness spaces.

Spend enough time watching live streams, and you will eventually see a comment section turn toxic. Petty grievances and minor arguments over chat moderation routinely spiral out of control, creating a messy, continuous loop of online drama. But sometimes that standard friction crosses a dangerous line. Take a recent broadcast from a channel
called IRL News Time, where the host zeros in on a rival creator known online as Psyche. The host starts with relatively mundane internet accusations. She claims Psyche is faking his sexuality for attention, labeling him as a spoiled, entitled guy living off his wealthy family. Within minutes, the
rhetoric escalates. The host moves from calling him immature to accusing him of maliciously stalking women online and suffering from extreme substance abuse. Then she makes an extreme logical leap. The host completely abandons standard gossip and explicitly accuses her target of practicing demonic witchcraft,
ultimately alleging he ritualistically sacrifices his own missing pet cats. A broadcast like this serves as a real-time blueprint of how modern digital defamation operates. It shows exactly how malicious actors engineer smear campaigns to completely destroy a target's reputation.
The foundation of any smear campaign is character assassination. The host repeatedly frames Psyche with clinical, dehumanizing language, diagnosing him on the spot as a sociopath and a narcissist to establish a baseline of distrust. To make these highly subjective attacks feel objective, she employs a specific
tactic, anchoring the insults to a verified sliver of historical reality. She points directly to a 2014 article from the Los Angeles Times referencing Psyche's past struggles with drug addiction. By pointing to a decade-old fact, she creates an illusion of journalistic credibility. She then fills
in the gaps between 2014 and today with her own unverified rumors, successfully exploiting the audience's confirmation bias. This monster narrative is then mobilized for the audience. The host frames her stream as a matter of public awareness, even encouraging viewers to call in wellness checks,
effectively turning a psychological character profile into a call for community action. This psychological priming leads to the strangest turning point in the livestream. The host completely pivots away from her immediate target and dives into a dense history lesson. This bronze statue of the Egyptian goddess Bastet is what she uses to legitimize her attack.
She screen shares dense articles about ancient feline worship to give her broadcast an academic veneer. As we look at the remains of this ancient mummified cat, the host sites recent archaeological debates. She explains the theory that mass cat burials in ancient Egypt were actually the result of organized ritual sacrifice. By layering dense trivia
between the internet drama and her final accusation, she builds a bridge of false authority. The weight of archaeological history is used to overwhelm the audience's critical thinking, making a bizarre leap feel like rigorous research. She then bridges these ancient Egyptian practices to demonology texts,
building a fabricated theological framework. This barrage of historical data serves zero educational purpose. It exists entirely to bypass the audience's skepticism, ensuring her final, most extreme lie appears as a logical conclusion to a historical mystery. With the audience thoroughly disoriented
by ancient history and demonology, the host snaps the narrative abruptly back to the immediate neighborhood. She presents her highly circumstantial evidence. A few of Psyche's cats, which usually appear in the background, have been missing from recent broadcasts. She then concludes on the record that her target is actively murdering and burying these cats in his backyard to
harvest demonic energy. By translating speculative ancient rituals into modern criminal charges, the broadcast moves out of the realm of toxic critique. It establishes a formal public accusation of animal cruelty and occult violence, the very definition of actionable defamation. While the historical theories are absurd, the real-world danger to the
targeted individual is immediate and severe. Looking at this aerial view of the Redondo Beach coastline, we are reminded that these are physical places with actual legal consequences. The host publicly threatens to compile her manufactured claims and submit them formally to the Redondo Beach Police Department. Simultaneously, she actively
encourages her audience to troll her target. She weaponizes her echo chamber, directing a highly motivated hostile digital mob to harass a single individual. Modern slander relies on packaging historical trivia, psychological manipulation, and live-streamed hatred into a monetized format delivered directly to viewers.
Understanding the anatomy of these campaigns allows us to recognize the manipulation in real time. It is our best defense against becoming unwitting participants in a fabricated digital witch hunt.
